Here once again is the formula. The world pays the U.S. tribute through seigniorage reaped by the dollar being the reserve currency of the world required to purchase oil. The dollar is not backed by anything except promises of the Federal Reserve since 1971 when the dollar’s link to gold bullion was abandoned. The link to gold bullion was scrapped because gold backing limits the amount fiat currency Central Bankers can print out of then air, and the ability to debase the value of the dollar, thereby reaping a seigniorage for tangible goods and services settled in dollars.

The dollar is not backed by a commodity like gold or silver, but by the U.S. military. Anyone wishing to use some other currency or gold dinar, for example, will be invaded and their regime changed to keep the great Ponzi scheme intact. What makes such threats of coercion viable is that as long as country ‘x’ lacks nuclear weapons, the United States or NATO can invade them with relative impunity without fearing retribution.

Consequently, what is paired with the petrodollar, that is having to accumulate dollars in reserves to purchase oil, is the drive to prevent nuclear power—since for the Neocon Nazis having a nuclear capability is tantamount to having a nuclear weapon. What is operative here is not deterrence, but keeping preemption as a primary policy objective. To invade and occupy countries before they can even produce a weapon because circularly it is when they are without a retaliatory capability that invasions and occupations can be taken with the least risks. So the Neocon Nazis believe.

Of course having plutonium a natural byproduct of reactors in truth doesn’t constitute being armed, anymore than having yellowcake uranium did in Iraq, since a fission trigger and delivery system must also be developed. But in the retarded logic of Wohlstetter’s Weenies, the Nazi Neocons, it is. It is for this reason, unbeknownst to most Americans who have not been exposed to the thinking of Bernard Brodie, the objective of the Nazi Neocons has always been to destroy the nuclear power industry to preserve America’s strategic nuclear advantage. The purpose being to preserve the doctrine of preemption or your classic schoolyard bully of international relations.

For the Neocons, peaceful civilian uses of nuclear energy is tantamount to having the weapons themselves.

Yes, the bully is the most powerful person on the playground if he is the only one packing heat, but if everyone is armed and if in disputes the other kids whip out their Glocks, well then the chances of the bully being able to impose his diktats are greatly diminished.

The policy of preemption thus seeks to sidestep the hard work of diplomacy. In short, what the U.S. wishes to preserve is its bully franchise to steal other kids’ lunch money, and it is for this reason the U.S. plans to march on Tehran to change its regime before they obtain the nuclear know how to resist such extortion. When I taught in L.A. I saw this dynamic all the time. Kids who didn’t want to be bullied went out and armed themselves. And this is precisely what will happen to Wohlstetter’s doctrine of preemption—it will spark an arms race. In the Middle East, if American officials were honest, they would recognize this as the Israeli effect by virtue of its nuclear armament.

Yes we can attack Libya while leaving North Korea alone. That is the way it is with bullies—deep down they are gutless wonders—like the Israelis and chicken hawk Dick Cheney. But now they have overreached because they now wish to steal the lunch money of some other kid who is packing a Kalashnikov and brass knuckles. The other kids wait with breathless anticipation for the 3 o’clock bell to see who will pound whom.

Of course the rational course of action if you happen to be the schoolyard monitor is to take away every kid’s weapon, without exception. To have a weapons free school. No schoolyard monitor could ever last for long being biased in favor of the “in crowd.”

Yes they are lying to us. But if you have to govern on the basis of lies, you are not a democracy. You are practicing fascism. It is not militarism, an aggressive foreign policy, or corporate involvement in government that is the quiddity of fascism—it is the use of prevarications that amount to nothing more than coercion of the population. Behind lies are the tacit assumption of force, and when the lies are exposed and the blinders fall away, it is then that the fascists move to actual physical coercion. But this was always preordained with the first use of lies to govern.

Gasoline speculators sniff war

“You just never ever do that as a government regulator -- transmit nonpublic market information to market participants,” says William Black, former general counsel at the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco. “There were no legitimate reasons for those disclosures.” Well there is if you’re practicing crony capitalism. And what Black is talking about was the passing of inside dope to hedge funds by Treasury Secretary Hank “211” Paulson.

Consumption of gas has fallen dramatically because of the recession as ordinary people attempt to make ends meet. In short, that means lower demand. But in February gas prices hit a high and now hover over $4.00/gallon in California, and nationwide it is way up. This is counterintuitive. Lower demand should result in lower prices, not higher prices.

What appears to be going is that gasoline speculators are buying up supplies ahead of some event. An event they believe will drive up gasoline prices—waaay up. That is these speculators are anticipating war this summer, and if that happens then gasoline prices will explode to $8.00/gallon, and not coincidentally they will make a killing. Some administration officials are speculating September or October, but I’ll go with Defense Secretary Leon Panetta’s call of war between April or June. If I had to make a guess the speculators are Goldman Sachs commodity traders, since they have a snitch in the White House in the person of Tim Geithner, a former Goldman employee.

As you can see gasoline futures prices began rising at the beginning of the year which is far from being the peak driving season.

By comparison it is very evident gasoline consumption is way down, yet gasoline futures prices are ramping.

Recall before the housing crisis went bust, former CEO of Goldman Hank Paulson, the then Treasury Secretary of the Bush Administration, called a meeting with select hedge funds (many of them former Goldman traders) and informed them Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were bankrupt, and would require a bailout. Not surprisingly, the less than prescient Goldman Sachs, began shorting the mortgage backed securities market, and were thus spared to a large extent the pain of the Lehman collapse. That is to say, Goldman are not really prescient speculators, but of course common insider traders, trading on information that other people do not know. This is illegal, but how the system now works under banker rule. And who can ever forget that before 9/11 traders were taking out put options on American and United Airlines. The SEC never revealed who they were, but I know they know. Anyway get a load of this:

Check out the spike on puts, that is bets that the share price of United Airlines was going to fall, before 9/11. Days before 9/11 puts to calls (bets the other way) spiked to 25 times the previous daily average of such transactions. This is clearly many standard deviations beyond the average indicating with moral certainty people knew in advance the attack was going to occur. That is, people on Wall Street—and I dare the SEC to refute it by providing the source of the trades.

First there was Robert Teflon Rubin, Hank Paulson, and now Timothy Geithner. All former executives of Goldman Sachs. I’m only surprised they did not attempt to run former Goldman CEO Jon Corzine for president so he could be their Mario Monti in Washington. Tsk, tsk, silly me. They would probably rather appoint such people. But he was too preoccupied stiffing traders at MF Global by absconding with their trading cash accounts, which he swore he did not know where the money had gone. Yeah sure. In any event, this is a very strong indicator that the decision for war has been made. Israel goes first to Tehran and then we follow, Obama’s idea of leadership—maybe he’s even purchased some gasoline call options in the futures market like no doubt Diane Feinstein’s husband.

And if they are really sharpies, like Slick Willie Clinton they put on a paired trade, because each penny rise in the gas price takes out about $3 billion from the rest of the economy. I apologize. I guess that was Hillary who had made a killing in the pork bellies futures. No matter, the sharpies will be shorting the Dow and going long the gasoline futures market. It is enough to make you say, “war is heaven.”

Wars are for the 1 percent. Money making opportunities for sleaze bags. So called experts are calling for a spike now in gas prices for the first half of the year, which translated from doublespeak means they believe shock and awe this time around will be short and sweet like in Iraq. But what if it isn’t. What if the Iranians use asymmetrical warfare and drag out the affair, and what happens if Russia gets involved because of their obvious national security concerns? The Russians have made it very clear Iran is their red line.

Frankly, the attack will galvanize the Iranians and strengthen their resolve. U.S. debt is already 100 percent of GDP, and a drawn out war will increase that dramatically, perhaps up to the levels of Greece at 136 percent of GDP. To this writer, affairs both foreign and domestic are spiraling out of control. But that is what desperation does to one’s critical faculties. It paralyzes them. And what if the unthinkable happens? We lose the war—nah that can’t happen that would be like saying house prices could one day decline.

The Russians lost over 20 million people in World War II, far more than the holocaust, the direct result of fascism and wars of choice on Hitler’s part. They know fascism when they see it, and equate rightly that NATO’s escapade in Libya was a repeat of Hitler’s invasion of Poland, that he said was necessary to prevent terrorism against Germans. The Chinese know fascism when they see it, notwithstanding their rejection of Leninism that you can bypass capitalism on your way to socialism. Even Britain’s Minister to the European Parliament Nigel Farage knows fascism when he sees it in Greece, Italy and the European Central Bank.

Consequently, Russia has announced there will be no more appeasement of the international war criminals in NATO and the U.S., and are preparing for war—nuclear war. When we attack Iran this summer, and that looks to be the timetable, we can expect responses from Pakistan to Lebanon setting off World War III.

John Kenneth Galbraith’s observation that the ruling oligarchy would risk total destruction rather than give up a farthing of its advantage, in this case the petrodollar, would appear to be headed for the ultimate test: nuclear war. They of course, the ruling elite that is, don’t want to inform the public it will be nuclear, but Russia and China know otherwise. There is no way of changing Iran’s regime short of using nuclear weapons which was the planned strategy from the get go, to bring about the self fulfilling prophecy of dispensation and Armageddon while they were at it.

I would urge personally Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Italy, and Greece to join Russia and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in resisting the fascist New World Order chaired by Goldman Sachs and its proxy the U.S. government. Debt slavery is the problem not the answer to the economic collapse engineered by Western central bankers. The ruse is to indebt the populace of whatever country, and then to convert fiat money as credit conjured out of thin air into actual tangible assets.

In the case of Greece, the privatization of public financed and constructed facilities: ports, airports, public gas corporation, defense factories, etc., etc. The bankers actually think of this scam as their alternative to war and the conquest of territories. But when push comes to shove, they will go to war to preserve their advantage the fiat petrodollar from which they reap a huge seigniorage in an inflation tax upon every country forced to hold dollars to purchase oil.

As Greece makes clear, the fascist New World Order wants nothing less than what we might call today the commons, the property of the people. This is precisely what transpired in the transition from feudalism to capitalism in the 16th century where the Holy Roman Empire was stripped of its church lands and privatized by an emergent capitalist class, and other common lands were enclosed, like those used to gather fire wood, graze cattle, and collect timber.

My best guesstimate is that the world is transitioning to permanent war socialism where the banksters feed off the defeated like feudal lords, squeezing the populace. That is, as they once remarked of the peasants, they are like watermelon seeds, the more you squeeze them the more that comes out. However, as the Icelanders have already demonstrated, the emerging locust class of bankers can be defeated by the people simply repudiating the debts and the bogus money they represent, as it amounts to fiat coupons unbacked by any commodity. Whereby the commodity embodies a certain amount of labor time and capital for its commodity form.

My own opinion is that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, following in the footsteps of a long line of ill prepared and incompetent Secretary of States beginning with Madeleine Albright, have stumbled and bumbled their way to the precipice of World War III. Their uncritical endorsement of the nonsense emanating from Tel Aviv has led the U.S. to a direct military confrontation between the U.S. and Russia.

For now, the Israeli intelligence establishment has said e-n-o-u-g-h and is resisting the Likudniks and Benjamin Netanyahu that have demonstrated their incompetence in Lebanon against Hezbollah, their meddling in Georgia which provoked a Russian intervention in 2008, and now with their threatened attacks against Iran that sits within a stone’s throw of Russia.

To entertain a potential nuclear exchange over the strategic nuclear nonsense spewed by Israel, and traced to Wohlstetter’s Weenies, acolytes of the one time real Dr. Strangelove Albert Wohlstetter, is clearly grounds for removing the likes of Hillary before she does any more harm to national security.

If Iran, without long distance ballistic missiles and presently no nuclear device, can’t be deterred and contained by our thousands of such weapons, then I ask Madam Secretary to explains how we avoided war with the former Soviet Union for the duration of the Cold War? Did we not do that with a policy of deterrence and containment? Indeed, has the State Department offered any evidence that such a policy would not be effective against Iran when compared to the considerable arsenal of Russia? Yet after three short years of Clinton’s sabre rattling, Russia now appears to be antagonized to the point they are saying they will use nuclear weapons to prevent another Libya—to themselves or their neighbors.

And the answer is simple: Israel. Madam Secretary does not have our national interests at heart, but rather the strategic ambitions of Israel to dominate the region. Her uncritical acceptance of their policies that are thankfully being questioned by people like Meir Dagan inside Israel are no different than Nazi Germany—the invasion of countries that pose no real threat to international order. Iran has not been outside its borders in over 200 years, a far cry from the war mongering Israel. The real threat here is Israel and why countries are perfectly within their right to seek nuclear weapons for purposes of deterrence from them and their proxies. They would be negligent not to to defend their citizens after what happened in Libya under the ruse of the “right to protect.”

To Russia’s credit, it recognizes what is really up with Iran is the same bug that got under Charles De Gaulle’s skin which was that nuclear weapons were a matter of prestige to the French. I’m sure it galls the Persians that Israel is able to have nukes while the same is denied to them. Because this is a matter also of pride, you are not going to extinguish it by bombing facilities. Russians are prideful so they understand other prideful people.

The Secretary would be wise to do likewise and stop listening uncritically to Wohlstetter’s Weenies that equated nuclear know how with being nuclear armed. Certainly, Japan would thus be as much a nuclear threat as Iran if that was the case. Yet no American hysteria about their nuclear capabilities, though they were willing to wage World War II with the U.S. And according to Philip Giraldi there are at least 50 countries that have nuclear weapons capability, like Saudi Arabia that produced many 0f the reputed 9/11 hijackers. Why are we not advocating bombing them into oblivion?

I suspect it is because the Saudis sell their oil in dollars, while Iran has decided to move on to other currencies. Or is it like Japan as detailed by Robert Stinnett’s Day of Deceit that the U.S. is hoping Iran attacks us, by slapping sanctions upon it like we did upon Japan before World War II. Hence the next Pearl Harbor or Gulf of Tonkin is planned for the Persian Pond. Yet another false flag attack to justify World War III.

The central issue is to negotiate with Iran about currency arrangements for the sale of their oil, not putting up the red herring of a nuclear threat that simply doesn’t exist, and confirmed by our own National Intelligence Estimate embodying the assessment of 16 spook agencies. And while you’re at it (i.e., the State Department), please tell ABC News to lay off the propaganda before I barf since they have taken it upon themselves to do your P.R. If the source of the Fourth Estate’s reporting originates from the State Department and Pentagon then democracy is undermined, which might actually be the objective of the corporate media, though you would have thought they would disguise their contempt for democracy a little better. It certainly is not good journalism, the rewriting of official press releases. It failed miserably in Vietnam, and will fare no better with Iran as effective foreign policy. Or perhaps the corporate oligarchy is so confident of its power they can throw it in the face of the public?

Le Monde: Goldman rules the world

The best example of this collusion and control is the price of gold which is the primary nemesis of the banker world cartel and the employment of fiat currency to enslave workers around the world through debt, that they themselves take on as well as the debt taken on by individual governments in their name. In the last instance the people in Greece, the people in Italy, Ireland, and Spain are squeezed as a feudal lord squeezes the peasants adjoining his lands for revenues, as they did during the Dark Ages to wage wars. Again what is important is that surplus value is squeezed out of the direct producers of society by a parasitic class through coercion of a state as opposed to market relations.

This is why the individual mandate of Obamacare was instantiated to make it legal to coerce individuals to purchase goods and services that they might not have even wanted. An obvious windfall for the insurance industry and bankers that can now also deal in such instruments. It is extraeconomic because it lies outside market relation and freedom of choice. This is why Ron Paul when he says the mandate is an assault upon liberty is absolutely correct. But that is the point. It is in reality an attempt to side step the freedom of the market, and individual choice. Nevertheless the primary way the cartel coerces the public to give up surplus value is through the mechanism of debt service, both private and public.

The bankers skim surplus, the surplus produced by labor, through the debasement of the currency and the stealth tax of inflation. This is why humorously, Warren Buffet stays clear of the bond market because it is basically a license for the bankers to steal from bond investors through inflation. However, what is being stolen through the extraeconomic coercion of Federal Reserve policy is labor time, for it now requires more labor time to purchase the same basket of goods. This is the basis of seigniorage, the theft of labor, just as it was during the age of feudalism, except now the worker does not realize he is giving up more labor to the new feudal lords, the banksters, for an ever declining standard of living.

But like the feudal age, such societies or forms of social organization leads to economic stagnation in which societies cannot raise output, and therefore create ever increasing crises of social reproduction for the parasitic elites—especially their ability to wage wars. They then increase their extraeconomic coercion, now known as austerity, and push the workers below the level of subsistence whereupon life and death class warfare ensues. This is where we are in Greece, but I am confident the governing elites in America will also commit this economic suicide.

This is why social systems disappear. There is no solution to the present system’s contradictions other than outside that system. This will take place as it did in the transition from feudalism to capitalism over many, many years. But if you were not jaundiced by self interest, as today’s economists are, you would have easily recognized the present system is absolutely unrecognizable as capitalism—we have in short already begun the transition to something else.

Contradictions of bourgeois thinking can’t be beat for entertainment

Now al Qaeda’s freedom loving rebels, yes the same Central Intelligence Agency assets that hate us for our freedom, is reported by the Activist Post to be plying their brand of contradictory freedom in Syria, where one time Libya Islamic Fighting Group leader Abdelhakim Belhadj is now fighting to liberate Syrians so that al Qaeda may torture them as they are now doing Libyans.

Fortunately, the Libyans recognize America’s now new found freedom fighters simply for what they are, radical extremist Islamists who have been handed the keys to government courtesy of the contradictory bourgeois thinking of dead beat intellects, the neoconservatives and their stooges like Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Nicolas Sarkozy. Because Libyans are not cultural dopes they are in the process of launching a counterrevolution so that they may have subsidized housing, subsidized healthcare, and subsidized education that was all available free of charge from Moammar Kadhafi. You know the kinds of freedom people in Greece wished they possessed, or in Portugal, or Ireland, or Spain.

If America’s new freedom fighters in Syria succeed they’ll be able to export America’s new found freedom—the freedom to be water boarded in indefinite detention by that other paragon of freedom, the Free Syrian Army. You have got to love it. Because if you actually talk freedom in the U.S., you’re summarily fired like Judge Napolitano or black balled in the press like Presidential hopeful Ron Paul while airheads like Rick Santorum are given free air time to tell the public how they will impose their minority views upon hapless free Americans.

That's exactly what's happening; at least 250 different militias in Misurata alone, according to Human Rights Watch, acting as cops on the beat, judges and exterminators all rolled into one. There's no Ministry of Justice to speak of in "liberated" Libya. Goldman Sachs dictatorship headed for revolution in Greece

Nobody ever voted for former Goldman Sachs stooge Lucas Papademos other than the other paid up stooges of Greece’s parliament. Democracy is the soul of Greece, and by my reckoning the Greek people have had enough. They are being pushed below the level of subsistence, the cutoff point where anger at Eurozone corruption turns to action. May Athens burn as Rome did while the Goldman fiddler Papademos is hung from the highest olive tree.

"The rebellion has begun," the veteran leftwinger Manolis Glezos told TV reporters.

"These measures will never pass. They are a breach of our democracy," he said, holding a mask to his face against the fumes.

You can save the banksters or the Greek people. It is a zero sum game that demands an up or down vote by the people before stooges like Papademos are lynched. The communists are polling 35 percent while the other parties are in single digits. Upcoming elections are going to see a hard left turn. Greece is in a economic death spiral unless the Greek people repudiate the debt. They could then leave the euro and return to the drachma. Then they would be free to fix the problem by jailing the banksters that brought on the mortgage mess to begin with. Basically the zombie Eurozone banks are feeding on the walking dead Greek citizen.

The so called troika of the International Monetary Fund, European Union, and European Central Bank is nothing more than a bankster dictatorship that will condemn the Greek people to a generation of poverty. When parliament is no longer accountable to the people but are nothing more than tools of the banks then the people must represent themselves by taking to the streets. Don’t be fooled. This is nothing more than class warfare pure and simple in which the direct producers are squeezed through the state to pay for the gambling of direct exploiters who produce nothing of value. Sensible people will come to the realization that such people are not needed in their society.

This is the message of Greece. It is the message that will come to America.

The relevant statistics from Greece and why it will implode:

“Greece's manufacturing output contracted by 15.5% in December from a year earlier. Industrial output fell 11.3%, compared to minus 7.8% in November. Unemployment jumped to 20.9% in November, up from 18.2% a month earlier.

Ergo: tax revenues fell. Meaning with each roll over of its debt, the Greeks must borrow more with zero likelihood they will ever be able to pay it with perpetual debt servitude to the banksters—the permanent squeezing of essentially the direct producers through the coercive apparatus of the state and its organized means of violence. Therefore with ever increasing indebtedness workers or the direct producers must be squeezed even harder through austerity measures leading to even further contraction of the real economy. And another fall in tax revenues. This is what economic historians would call a death spiral—and what Ben Bernanke refers to as recovery. I would have to disagree. The euro is going down, the extend and pretend is pointless. And contrary to the assertion of Angela Merkel the politicos hold more power than the market—that is utter rubbish.

The only thing separating present day workers from peasants is the fact they are market dependent and cannot retreat into subsistence agriculture to hold their social position. Though if you read the literature of survivalists, Americans are increasingly opting out of a system that does not benefit them, and are returning to agriculture, producing the full range of their subsistence. They are organizing agricultural cooperatives to teach themselves the skill necessary to return to the land.

When people are forced below the level of subsistence that is when they begin to fight back and revolt. We are currently at the subsistence stage, but would proceed to below the subsistence stage quickly if inflation picked up significantly for basic necessities like food and fuel. This is why Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei talks of closing the Strait of Hormuz to counteract U.S. attempts to undermine its currency the rial. Undermine the stability of our society and we can respond in kind and undermine your social order. Here, events in Greece provide a glimpse into America’s future if inflation picks up. Prevarications of the sort for the jobs number reported on this blog site and others are designed to create a lack of transparency to hide conflicts of interest, where the corporate oligarchy has bought government. Indeed, Benito Mussolini referred to his brand of fascism as corporatism.

Lies are the essence, the lifeblood of fascism and defines it as a political form of organization. It is indeed interesting that neoconservatives, largely Jewish in orientation though clearly not entirely, subscribe to this doctrine given its pedigree. But their intellectual fountain, Leo Strauss was merely a protégé of his mentor Carl Schmitt, the Nazi jurist. It would appear that neoconservatives suffer from Stockholm Syndrome where they have actually come to identify with their former tormentors the Nazis.

Fascism because it rests upon lies will lead to catastrophe for the United States. We have already witnessed its effects in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Just as Germany blundered into Russia, a mistake also committed by Napoleon Bonaparte, the U.S. is hell bent on invading Iran, a proxy of Russia and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. If the U.S. were to succeed in this gambit there would be U.S. bases in Iran, the equivalent of Russian military bases in Mexico. I don’t think Russia can allow that to happen. Why again the Darkerside fully expects World War III, perhaps as early as this year.

American troops are reported to be staging and massing on Masirah and Socotra, one island located close to Hormuz and the other in the Indian Ocean. About 50,000 troops have been massed on the two islands, bringing boots on the ground to about 100,000 in the Persian Gulf region. Though known by the press, this mobilization is unreported to the U.S. public. This presages some sort of amphibious landing, because the United States will have to fight its way to Tehran to change its regime to prevent the collapse of arguably their greatest scam, the fiat petrodollar that exacts a seigniorage from every country that must hold dollars to purchase oil.

If you exchanged your oil for dollars in say 2001 you received about $28/bbl. Now just after ten years if you took that $28 and attempted to buy back that barrel of oil, you would receive only about a quarter of a barrel. The difference is the seigniorage reaped by the country that issues the fiat currency, and consumes the oil.

The only form of money that would have held its value from 2001 to the present is gold, and this is why the Chinese are taking their increasingly worthless dollars and purchasing gold. This is precisely why Iran constitutes such a great threat with its currency arrangements to sell its oil in something other than dollars. For world trade and globalism to succeed the dollar must remain stable, which it was until 1971 when the link to gold was broken. Today however the policy is clearly one of debasement to rip off oil producers in the Middle East and of course the United States’ nemesis, Russia.

Here in the United States the debasement policy results in the devaluation of labor in terms of real wages. This is also the putative destruction of capital or savings in the U.S., that must lead over the long haul to reduced investment in plant and equipment. Though it does encourage speculators to ply their trade in the bond market, knowing full well the Federal Reserve will buy the bonds increasing their prices, and counter intuitively lowering interest rates. Some analysts actually having the chutzpah to claim this is a sign of low inflation, when nothing could be further from the truth.

Oil is today trading at just about $100/bbl. Yes, when the U.S. invades Iran it will constitute another act of international aggression, the ultimate war crime according to the Nuremberg Tribunal. Fascists run around care free until the world bands together to stop them. The world is at that point now with the United States. The fascists governing the country believe wrongly, I believe, they can reshuffle the deck with another World War, and come out on top. My best guesstimate is that like other fascist states the U.S. will fail because they have actually come to believe their own lies. Because they do, they actually do not perceive that Iraq and Afghanistan were failures of immense importance. The only ones they are fooling are themselves. They have crossed the Rubicon from delusion to madness, and now we know how a whole nation like Germany could come unraveled.

At the end of World War II U.S. troops escorted nearby residents of the concentration camps to observe the atrocities committed. A common refrain from those forced to tour the camps was: “They lied to us.” Meaning of course their fascist government. But I don’t think it can be said the German people on the whole attempted to find out very hard what was going on. They relied on the media controlled by Ministry of Propaganda and Joseph Goebbels for their information.

They believed terrorists were attacking Germans in Poland, and that invasions of other countries for lebensraum was their right. Americans likewise have been none too inquisitive about what their government is up to, claiming terrorism and weapons of mass destruction as justification for invasions of countries that posed no threat to its security. An obvious fact when no such WMDs were ever found in Iraq. But this is the essence of a fascist state, and no doubt Americans when confronted with their own war crimes will cry: “They lied to us.”

The economy will implode; but why worry—be happy

The above chart shows that the required deleveraging of the economy needed to restore financial health did not occur.

This is because the bailed out banksters simply returned to speculating and gambling. But the truth is that while the banksters borrowed into existence the principal of the funds, the interest on the prior debt has not been created. At some point in time the requisite income of Americans to service this debt will fail, and then the greatest debt bubble in human history will implode sending the economy into a depression that will make the 1930s seem like child’s play.

We know this is going to occur. Out here in La La land California there is a lot of extend and pretend by maintaining one’s lifestyle on the basis of credit. The operative word here is party—be happy. I grew up reading Mad Magazine and Afred E. Neuman was famous for saying “What, me worry?” That just about sums up present day America.

Now just about 56,000 manufacturing factories have left the country since 2000. Every single day, on average, about 15 factories either shut down or get out of Dodge. That means all the funny money being printed up now is unbacked by actual production and goods and services. Inflation is going to happen as John Williams at Shadowstats.com warns repeatedly. But again, “What, me worry?”

Now what characterized the Feudal Age was that all manner of events was explained on the basis of witchcraft, warlocks, and magic. The appearance of money under the Grand Wizard Ben Bernanke is pretty much magical for the populace. With the right incantations, potions, and spells, dressed up in mathematical equations for the exercise of options, our troubles disappear. And this is what characterizes a feudal period from modern day rationality—that savings produced through cutting costs and innovations lead to reinvestment in production thereby raising the standard of living of the populace, not through spells and potions or Black-Scholes equations (some might call them black magic), but through labor.

Yep. That’s what Adam Smith understood. That’s what Marx understood. But not the economic wizards of today like Ben Bernanke. For these guys it’s, “What, me worry?” And let’s bring back the leeches (aka banksters) to cure the illness.

I guess Syrians don’t consider Russia’s veto of the U.N. resolution such a bad thing. In truth, Syria is engulfed in a civil war in which both sides are armed, and in which the Syrian people need to sort out the mess among themselves. Like we wouldn’t have appreciated the British Empire meddling in the war between the states in America, Russia’s veto simply says the people, not the American Empire, should decide the issues that divide them.

Ambassador Rice’s claim that Russia will have the blood of the conflict on its hands is nonsensical. This would be like maintaining the bloodiest war in American history, the Civil War, was the responsibility of the British Empire for not intervening. If the Syrian people want liberty they will have to fight to get it, and in the process they will discover it does not come cheaply. I think it very ironic that Saudi Arabia calls for Bashar al Assad to step down, the House of Saud being a tyrannical regime if there ever was one supported by that paragon of virtue the U.S.

Iran will close Strait in event of war

The U.S. has a high tech navy, but to expect them to keep the Strait of Hormuz open is problematic. This is because Iran does not have to close the Strait, but merely stand off from the mountainous north shore of the Strait, and sink a few oil tankers with anti-ship missiles.

In 2001, Iran Defense Minister Ali Shamkhani traveled to Russia and purchased state of the art supersonic anti-ship missiles known as the Sunburn 22. The missile has a range of a 100 miles. The Strait of Hormuz is 21 miles at its narrowest. The missile can easily cover the inlet or outlet as the case may be. The missile flies at twice the speed of sound or Mach 2.1. This is a formidable weapon in Iran’s arsenal. The above video documents a test firing of the missile. It is quite accurate. If this is not bad enough, the Iranians have purchased an unknown number of Russia’s Yakhont anti-ship missiles that travel at close to Mach 3.0. And to top it off, the Iranians have taken delivery of radar jamming technology from the Russians.

Atop mobile missile launchers, missiles of this sort would be extremely hard to detect among the mountainous terrain of Iran’s side of the Strait. Oil tankers would have to be so lucky as to be accompanied by U.S. ships carrying Rolling Action Missiles to stand a chance of survival. It is just a guess whether RAMs will be able to intercept supersonic and hypersonic missiles under war time conditions. The new Russian missiles give target ships only about 25 to 30 seconds for countermeasures. We must recall that the U.S. did not prevent Saddam Hussein’s SCUDS from reaching Israel during the first Gulf War. More importantly the new Russian missiles are far more advanced technologically to that of Iraq’s and fly at supersonic and hypersonic speeds.

The Iranians, in this writer’s opinion, would only have to sink a handful of tankers to make the insurance for their oil cargo unaffordable, thereby sending oil prices through the roof. Assuming you could find an insurer to take on the risk. Sounds like a job for AIG, perhaps the U.S. can also back stop the carriers in the event AIG cannot pay off on their bet. Seriously however, what is certain is that the stock markets would crash—all the speculators understand the importance of oil to the global economy. The point is the Iranians do not have to close the Strait to shut off the oil spigot. They themselves could simply choose not to sell 600,000 bbls/day of the gooey stuff to Europe, thereby sinking the Eurozone and the American banks that do business with the region. War with Iran will implode Europe.

And if the Iranians really wished to get nasty, they have no further to look than the refineries in Saudi Arabia, easily within Iran’s own ballistic missile technology. Ali Khamenei’s fiery rhetoric of late is backed up by Iran’s quite capable arsenal. Simply put, to alter Iran’s currency arrangements requires regime change and an invasion of the country. Anything less will not preserve the dollar as the world’s reserve currency. I believe the few that understand the petrodollar feel there is little choice but to invade Iran, but perhaps not in an election year. Obama just yesterday attempted to tone down the incendiary rhetoric of an attack upon Iran. Such an attack would immediately bring about a global recession, if not depression, and sink (pardon the pun) Obama’s reelection prospects. Though if Obama can hold off the neoconservatives and avoid World War III, it would constitute a tremendous political achievement.

Nevertheless, America’s governing elite (the banksters) does wish to attack Iran to preserve their dollar advantage—this talk of Iran’s nuclear threat to Israel’s existence is baloney. By far the greater threat to Israel’s existence are its political leaders stoking the fires of World War III and a direct confrontation with Russia and China. So self absorbed are they that perhaps they actually did not contemplate this possibility. If the U.S. does not succeed in its gambit, there will be blood in the water and the sharks will begin to circle for the destruction of the dollar, and Israel may end up as just so much collateral damage.

In this writer’s opinion, the crowning achievement of the neoconservatives who have pulled the wool over the eyes of the goyim governing elite is to have brought the U.S. to the precipice of war with Iran. It is obvious people like Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, et. al., have not read Carl Schmitt and Alexander Kojeve, the intellectual forebears of neo-fascist Leo Strauss, his views cloaked in the guise of neoconservatism.

Neoconservatives in truth hold democracy in contempt, as any fascist would. A neoconservative who is more up front about this is Michael Ledeen. See his book Universal Fascism, which speaks favorably of fascism as a "revolutionary movement.” Yes, this is the guy the American Enterprise Institute stocked to the gills with Jewish American traitors awarded the fascist Ledeen the Freedom Chair. Well one freedom fascists seem to approve of is locking people up who disagree with them because the fascist is at war 24/7. Guys like Ron Paul are part of the old order because he believes in the Constitution and the rule of law. What fascist democrats like Ledeen want is the latter’s destruction and a new world order, and why he calls fascism revolutionary. Democracy for Ledeen largely amounts to marching in rallies and carrying Nazi totems. Reasoned discourse is not sufficiently instinctual and revolutionary. Democracy is replaced by the nonstop noble lies of the main stream media like Diane Sawyer, Martha Raddatz and Andrea Mitchell. What unmitigated fools.

Both Vladimir Putin and Hu Jintao correctly surmise the U.S. has committed a major blunder in its attempt to remake the Middle East or what Ledeen calls revolution, and presents both countries with opportunities—like even higher oil prices for Russia’s Lukoil. The neoconservatives have done for imperial America what the Scotch-Irish did for King George the III. What goes around comes around as they say. Our empire teeters as the British Empire did in the late 19th century, as ours began unraveling in the late 20th century, in part because of the revolutionary genius of guys like Michael Ledeen that employed “democracy” to destroy it. Nowhere do these geniuses own up to the debacle they created in Iraq, that brought to power the Shiites and extended the reach of Iran. Anymore foreign policy successes like that will hasten the collapse of the increasingly clueless Leviathan.

I’ve maintained for quite a while that California, Oregon, and Washington should go their own way. Nevada and Arizona may very well wish to join this new federation anchored by the economy of California. With each passing day these Pacific states become ever more integrated into the Pacific Rim and Asia, and less tied to the other 47 states. California simply pays more in taxes to the U.S. federal government than it receives in benefits. According to the Tax Foundation in 2005, for each dollar California pays in taxes it receives only $0.78 in Federal spending. If the region breaks away, Chinese capital will pour into the region. Leaders of the state are already planning for this eventuality by awarding lucrative contracts, like that for the Oakland Bay Bridge, to China. Who knows perhaps the bullet train from San Diego to the Bay Area will also be Made in China.

The intelligence service Debka is calling for war in May between the U.S. and Iran. The bait (U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln) sailed through the Strait and is now a sitting duck on the Persian pond, and makes a quite tempting target for Iran’s anti-ship missiles. No word on the odds for the first nuke in Las Vegas or who will detonate it. I’m wagering the U.S. will be the first to use nukes—to save itself from defeat. Ledeen would no doubt call that creative destruction. Then there will be a chorus of nuclear exchanges like the end of Dr. Strangelove.

Yep. It looks like Hitler is going to be proven correct. A war must be risked to save the system, meaning of course saving the bacon of the 1 percent, while of course the 99 percent simply gets fried. Freaking fucking geniuses.

BLS falsifies the jobs data to deceive U.S. public

According to Bureau of Labor Statistics’ numbers the U.S. gained 243,000 jobs. But this was not the case. In truth 1.572 million workers left the labor force meaning the total number of employed fell by 737,00. Yikes! What the 243,000 reported number represents is the seasonal adjustment and not the actual raw numbers of the non-farm payroll survey data. See below:

The blue line represents the Bureau of Labor statistics seasonal adjustment for non-farm payrolls, one might even call it the department’s massage of the numbers. The actual survey number is the red line not reported by the likes of ABC and NBC News. In actuality the survey shows a decrease of 2.7 million jobs. We can thank Lee Alder for this finding. Other commentators note that this reporting of the seasonal adjustment is so egregious that it amounts to deliberate fraud on the part of our dear government. As Karl Denninger observes:

In fact other than January 2009 there has never been a single month in my table, which dates back to 1999, that put up a worse combined number. This “performance” rates a literal “second from utter despair and disaster,” and the employment rate shows it.

And the reputed numbers produced this response from Heidi Shierholz of the Economic Policy Institute:

This is a great surprise. It was out of context with other things we’ve been seeing . . . so we can’t be confident that this is the new state of things.

The obvious answer to Ms. Shierholz is that the numbers are being cooked to get Barack Obama reelected. But as John Williams has documented over at Shadowstats.com, such practices have become par for the economics profession. Since the real objective is to derail the functioning of democracy and deceive the public. It is the only way the ruling elite can govern, but by way of fraud, like the Mossad might paraphrase: to wage class warfare by way of deception.

The other great "yeah but" rejoinder is of course not the rhetoric of the BLS, but the actual actions of the Federal Reserve, and Ben Bernanke. Does Big Ben really think the economy has turned the corner, as was trumpeted in the Los Angeles Times today. No. Ben is contemplating embarking on a another round of quantitative easing or money printing to stoke the fires of the economy. When the Fed raises interest rates that will signal the reigniting of the economy because the labor market is becoming too irrationally exuberant. We are a long way from that if you believe Mr. Deninger or Ms. Shierholz. But don't take my word for it. Just watch what Ben Bernanke does as opposed to what the BLS says is happening in the economy.

And if the press is lying about economic statistics, I am confident they are also lying about Iran’s nuclear weapons program that our 16 intelligence agencies concur was stopped in 2003. So what is going here. The exact replay of Iraq and its phantom weapons of mass destruction. But the persistent lying by the mass media constitutes the sine qua non of fascism, and the soft underbelly of democracy—the will to prevarication. It epitomizes the merger 0f corporate and government power on behalf of the 1 percent. And therefore such reporting exposes the bias of corporate media and lying as its primary function in a fascist state.

Class warfare never ends. In America, it has taken the form of an information war—that as Warren Buffet duly notes his class is winning. This is why the governing elite are working overtime to shut down the internet, the latter dilutes their power and their power to lie with impunity.

Dempsey knocks out Netanyahu

General Martin Dempsey, Barack Obama's personal envoy is reported to have sent a clear message to Israel’s loose cannon, Bibi Netanyahu, that the United States would not participate in a unilateral attack upon Iran for unverified nuclear weapons. This does not prevent Netanyahu from going ahead and committing military suicide, but opposition forces within Israel’s defense establishment now have a chip to play against Netanyahu.

If what independent journalist Gareth Porter reports is true, Barack Obama could very well be credited with heading off World War III. A very substantial political achievement, and contrasts with the GOP’s Mitt Romney position that he would attack Iran to stop the development of weapons that all 16 of U.S. intelligence agencies say Iran abandoned in 2003. This is why the Israeli inspired press in this country has lined up for Romney and against Ron Paul. They support war, while the latter doesn’t.

War or Peace. That should be the contrast between the President and the Israel firster wannabe, Mitt Romney, in the fall election. I for one think the President can hand the GOP their heads on that issue alone. An Israeli strike on Iran could very well mean nuclear war. There is nothing the American people detest more than the specter of a nuclear holocaust. Ron Paul has already laid out the points of argument in the the Republican primaries. This is not in America’s national interest—where discussion and negotiation is far preferable to a nuclear winter.

Israel has provided absolutely no evidence that Iran, anymore than Japan, has opted to build nuclear weapons. What is negotiable with Iran is the currency that they will accept in exchange for their oil. Having a nuclear capability, the knowledge base to produce a bomb if need be, is far from an existential threat to Israel, and no threat to U.S. national security. But the collapse of the Petrodollar is a threat to national security and has been treated as such in both Iraq, and Libya, whose former leaders sought to drop the dollar as the primary means of exchange for their commodity.

There is nothing to stop Netanyahu from his plan of attack, since the U.S. has pulled out of Iraq and no longer controls its air space, other than the very real dissension in Israel’s own intelligence apparatus, which does not differ wildly from our own National Intelligence Estimate that Iran stopped its nuclear weapons program in 2003. This assessment was endorsed by 16 U.S. intelligence agencies in 2007. The most likely unfolding of events is the following: that Iran continues to negotiate currency arrangements for the sale of their oil which threatens a run on the U.S. dollar which forces the U.S. to invade Iran, and change its regime. This is still a negotiable point with the Iranians. The nuclear war rhetoric, e.g., the spiel of Netanyahu, is not credible though you would not know this from ABC’s evening news. Shills if there ever was one for the Israeli lobby.

UN Report: NATO’s Libya War Armed al-Qaeda

The Western-backed overthrow of Libyan strongman Moammar Gadhafi likely provided huge stocks of heavy weapons to terrorist groups and criminal organizations operating in the Sahel region of North Africa, the United Nations confirmed January 26 in a report. Among the groups benefiting from the arms are al-Qaeda and the deadly Islamic terror organization Boko Haram, which is currently on a killing spree in Nigeria.

The UN report explained that “due to the Libyan upheaval ... governments in the region are faced with the return of millions of economic migrants, the smuggling of weapons from Libyan stockpiles, terrorist activities, youth unemployment, trafficking in drugs and human beings, and a surge in criminality,” the international body summarized in a press release on its findings.

But the international body carefully ignored its own obvious role in creating the tragedy. The UN, of course, first called for the “no-fly zone” over Libya and all measures necessary to “protect civilians” in March of last year. Western powers including the U.S. government promptly interpreted the international resolution as a green light for military strikes and eventually regime change.

Almost incredibly, the UN and some of its member governments are now calling for even more international intervention. To deal with the fallout crisis created by the previous round of failed intervention, a collection of regimes in the region seeking to quash rebel groups joined forces with various UN officials to seize on last week’s report, demanding more support from the international body and the regional African Union (AU).

NATO and its Libyan “National Transitional Council (NTC)” ally on the ground — comprised mainly of known terror leaders, former Gadhafi officials, and assorted Islamic extremists — promised throughout the war to take steps to ensure that Gadhafi’s massive stockpile of military weaponry did not fall into the wrong hands. But it did — almost from the beginning.

Jim Sinclair reports there will be a de facto default in the bond market

Jim Sinclair whose father was an associate of the legendary trader Jesse Livermore reported today that the International Swaps and Derivatives Association that determines whether a credit event constitutes a default will rule that a 70 percent haircut for European bondholders does not represent a default.

Though all players in the bond market know that receiving 30 cents on the dollar darn well represents a default, ISDA will rule otherwise in a de facto bailout of the five largest U.S. banks that wrote the credit default swaps against the European bonds. That is, bond investors will be left holding the bag for the losses, while the banksters once again are let off the hook for what is no doubt trillions in insurance to bond investors.

The obvious upshot should see bond investors who believed they held insurance against default stepping away from the treasury markets. My guess is that bond rates will rise and central banks will again fire up the printing presses to prevent another 2008 style meltdown. We should further remember that 7 percent interest is something of a line in the sand for Italy, beyond which the country would default ending the euro. That means the European Central Bank will have to monetize Italy’s debt when bond investors step away from the market because of the ISDA’s failure to call a default a “default.” No doubt, at some point Portugal, Ireland, Italy, and Spain will simply not be able to service their debt, and at that point the ISDA will have to admit the obvious and scuttle the five largest banks in the U.S. that hold 97 percent of credit default swap contracts. That is when the Greater Depression will become the Greatest Depression of all time.

This dog and pony show by Merkozy has just about run out of steam. Southern Europe has entered a depression with jobless rates in Spain, Greece, and Italy above 20 percent for people between 18 and 24 years old. For the European Union as a whole unemployment is above 10 percent. The phony no default call in the bond market is just the latest attempt by the politicos at extend and pretend. Merkozy has achieved one result, however. They have now brought Europe to the brink of revolution.

It is inflate or die for the politicos, but I’m afraid their currencies will collapse first—the euro and dollar. War is their only answer now. Israel says they, meaning the West, must attack Iran by summer. But events are now moving quickly and they will be forced to move even more quickly. This is not news to Iran. Mitt Romney is the Israeli establishment choice for 2012. He’s on record as saying he wishes to start World War III with Iran over nonexistent weapons of mass destruction. We’ve heard that song and dance before. He does have slicked back hair like Paul Wolfowitz, I only wonder whether he engages in the odd habit of licking his comb. But he none the less is a Slick Willy, and Newt Gingrich knows one when he sees one. He has no farther to go than the bathroom mirror each morning. Mitt skirts the tax laws by conveniently stashing mounds of cash in the Cayman Islands. The go to place for the richest 1 percent.

Romney has surged in the Florida primary race because the main stream press is promoting him like they once did Barack Obama. Unfortunately, Obama has fallen out of their good graces, some even want to assassinate the guy, because he is not sufficiently pliant enough in attacking Iran. Obama knows darn well that Iran is no nuclear threat, least of all to the United States. What Iran threatens is the U.S. dollar as a reserve currency through the sale of its oil in other currencies.

Such actions threaten a run on the dollar and the secular decline of the United States. That run on the dollar, where countries begin to dump it, is a certainty because printing up dollars as a “remedy” in the financial crisis begun in 2008 has resulted in a decline of real personal disposable income. In fact, real disposable income is back to where it was in 2006 thanks to the surplus army of unemployed that depresses wages, and the debasement of the dollar that compresses purchasing power. That means at best stagnation for the immediate future if not recession. Recession in turn means falling tax revenues and a fiscal crisis as the country attempts to roll over debt. In short, time is running out for the Israeli lobby to get the United States to attack Iran so it has thrown its weight behind Romney to win this year.

What the Israeli lobby, they’re really not Americans many of them having dual citizenships, should fear is that Obama could easily turn the tables on their Goldwater redux candidate, and Obama himself could embrace Ron Paul’s message of peace. What the Israelis really fear is an antiwar movement that Barack could galvanize in a general election, where he would be able to draw upon Paul’s supporters for putting the interests of the nation first. Believe it or not, there still remains a large progressive wing of the Democratic Party that would be energized by an antiwar message, and painting Romney as a nuclear war monger like Barry Goldwater.

The antiwar sentiment only requires an icon from the music industry as a catalyst to sink Israel’s evil aspirations. You only have to read excerpts from Jon Wiener’s book on John Lennon to know how much Richard Nixon feared the antiwar movement, and how intelligence agencies in the U.S. attempted to derail Lennon’s message of “Give Peace a Chance.” The last pop icon of Lennon’s status was Michael Jackson. And we should not lose sight of the fact, rarely now mentioned in the main stream press, that the Propofol linked to Jackson’s untimely demise was traced to Teva Pharmaceuticals by the DEA, a front I believe, to which Meir Amit, the former head of the Mossad, sat on the board of the directors.

Barry, Barry, Barry . . . the millionaires are privileged because you’re afraid

In the State of the Union address, Barack Obama called for a level playing field and the restoration of the middle class, having come to the conclusion that middle American jobs were shipped over seas.

The millionaires prospered while middle America languished not because of the tax structure, but because the Federal Reserve and Ben Bernanke, the guy you reappointed to the job, produced negative real interest rates which incentivized not productive investment in plant and equipment, but rather speculation in derivatives. Which is to say, the lion share of your stimulus went to hedge funds, and financial services from which you receive a disproportionate share of your campaign contributions. In other words, the millionaires prospered because you chose willingly to bail them out when they made bad bets. Is that fair? Of course not. But it is a form of socialism for the wealthy.

Had the market been allowed to determine winners and losers, then those very same speculative millionaires who have prospered under your aegis would be in the poor house, and the actual strong hands in the market, those that invest, cut costs, and innovate would have prevailed as responsible capitalists always have. Instead, you and Hank Paulson have given irresponsible capitalists a second wind, when they should have instead been punched in the stomach as a lesson in moral hazard.

The problem is not that the privileged millionaires are paying too little in taxes, it is that they are not paying enough to support the wars of choice that you’re engaging in on their behalf. Yes, perhaps they could pay more for your wars, but then again you could cut the war appropriations and indeed lower their taxes, thereby making profitability easier to come by, and incentivizing actual productive investment, as you’ve proposed in a America Built to Last. But as long as interest rates remain negative, speculation is going to rule the roost, and America will become another 19th century Britain. Easy money keeps the casino humming and America declining.

Two final points. The speculators are not dummies they know the Fed is going to continue to purchase bonds, and they front run that action for certain profits. This is why interest rates are artificially suppressed despite accelerating inflation or expansion of the money supply. And second, money printing by the Fed destroys capital or savings, also retained earnings used for plant and equipment, and therefore militates against investment. While all this is taking place gold is flowing from the West to the East. As gold bugs are fond of saying “those nations that control the gold also control the making of the financial rules.” We are on the cusp of a change in power relationships. Today’s elites simply are not as sharp as in past generations, and this spells social unrest in the future which we have already witnessed in the Occupy Wall Street movement.

I guess the ABC News analysts were a little premature calling the so called revolution a done deal in Libya. Though their chicanery no doubt contributed to the barbaric murder of strongman Moammar Kadhafi, ABC News, I strongly suspect a public relations arm for the CIA, is going to be proven wrong in Libya.

In comparison to the National Transition Council or NATO stooges, the Libyan people know the difference between subsidized housing, subsidized educations, subsidized healthcare under Kadhafi and European and American exploitation of their country by corporate oil. Anyway, Kadhafi loyalists in Bani Walid have had enough, and have now thrown America’s al Qaeda out of the city.

What we need now is for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to return to Tripoli so the people can show their appreciation for America’s meddling in their country. I understand Mustafa Abdul Jalil, head of the Transitional National Council, is attempting to get out of town quickly before Libyan citizens get a hold of him. If nothing else, Libyans provide a good role model for our own bankster stooge, Barack Obama. Tar and feather the guy and run him out of town on a rail.

Have you ever noticed that everything Obama touches turns to manure. Hey, I can’t wait to see how Obamy is going to fix the mortgage mess, like taking from the pension funds or working stiffs and giving money to the banksters—yet again. It is what makes America great: PREDATION. Whether it goes on in the Maghreb or Washington D.C.

Call me a dreamer, but I think the whole lot of them are going to end up dangling from their heels like Il Duce.

Atlanta Jewish Times’ Adler calls for assassination of Barack Obama

Andrew Adler, publisher of the Atlanta Jewish Times, calls for Israel’s Mossad to take out President Barack Obama because the latter is not sufficiently aligned with Adler’s view that Iran constitutes an existential threat to Israel.

Never mind, that Ehud Barak, Israel’s Defense Minister and Meir Dagan, the former head of the Mossad, do not consider Iran’s nuclear program to be an existential threat. “Iran does not pose,” said Barak, “an existential threat to Israel at this time.” Quite frankly, it is hard to see how Iran poses much of a threat to Israel that possesses 200 to 400 nuclear devices by the reckoning of nuclear experts familiar with Israel’s nuclear development at Dimona.

The real threat to stability in the region is Israeli sponsored terrorism, like the recent assassination of Iranian scientist Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan. According to reports by Time, “Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency assassinated an Iranian scientist in a bomb attack, citing unnamed Western intelligence sources.” Indeed, there is great suspicion among intelligence analysts that the Mossad was also previously involved in the assassination of John F. Kennedy because he wished to stop Israel’s nuclear development, as Israel is today attempting to halt Iran’s nuclear capability.

First, Israel does not have the capability to stop Iran’s nuclear program, at best delaying its development of nuclear expertise by a couple years. Second, Iran cannot blithely develop a bomb without threatening Russian national security, thereby focusing Russian ballistic missiles on the Iranian Republic. That is, the development of a bomb is no more in Iran’s interest as it was in Finland and Sweden’s interest to become a threat to Russia. Third, it would be more rational to bring Iran under Russia and China’s nuclear umbrella by its full membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, as Japan is under the aegis of U.S. nuclear weapons. What’s really at issue are the currency arrangements to sell oil in rials, rubles, renminbis, and perhaps even yens.

This is why the U.S. will be forced to attack Iran to prevent a run on the dollar that would take it to Third World status. Iran is a proxy for the United States’ dispute with Russia, Brazil, India, and China over the reserve currency status of the dollar. Obama’s hand is a weak one, and it is being called by China, and Russia is raising the bet. The moment hypothetically Israel attacks Iran, oil will rise to $200-300/barrel, gas prices spike to $8-10/gallon and the Caucasus and Middle East will unravel, and the world economy tanks. If Israel wants to remove Obama a global depression is a sure thing if it attacks Iran, but as Meir Dagan notes Israel is not prepared for the conventional Iranian onslaught that would follow, nor are they prepared that Iran might have already nuclear armed themselves at the local arms bazaar. Why take such risks? This is why Obama is noticeably reticent to attack Iran and why American Jews want to kill the poor lad.

In any event, it is a federal crime to make death threats on a U.S. president. Yet, to my knowledge Mr. Adler of Atlanta has not been picked up by the Federal Bureau of Investigation nor even interviewed by authorities. Unless U.S. politicians find their backbone and the American national interest, this is headed for catastrophe, not just for the U.S., but for humanity. When the U.S. sneezes the world is likely to catch a cold—as in nuclear winter. The virus here is the Jewish lobby.

As I observed in a previous post: what everyone is waiting to learn is whether Hitler was right. And by the likes of Adler perhaps he’ll be proven prescient.

Greece Is Insolvent, Will Default on Debt: Fitch

Greece is insolvent and probably won’t be able to honor a bond payment in March as the country negotiates with creditors to cut its debt burden, Fitch Ratings Managing Director Edward Parker said.
The euro area’s most indebted country is unlikely to be able to honor a March 20 bond payment of 14.5 billion euros ($18 billion), Parker said today in an interview in Stockholm. Efforts to arrange a private sector deal on how to handle Greece’s obligations would constitute a default, he said.
Prime Minister Lucas Papademos is scheduled to meet tomorrow with a group representing private bondholders after a five-day break to hold talks on forgiving at least 50 percent of the nation’s debt in the euro area’s first sovereign restructuring. Greece’s official creditors begin talks Jan. 20 on spending curbs and budget cuts that will determine whether to disburse additional aid.

COMMENT:

The Federal Reserve and the Goldman Sachs’s lackeys (Lucas Papademos and Mario Monti) given the reins of power in Greece and Italy are going to fail. Investors recognize the sovereign debt bubble has popped. Italy will follow Greece in defaulting and the Euro will be no more. The extend and pretend strategy only means that the collapse of the world economy, when it arrives, will be even bigger and more devastating in its inevitability. It is now the Obomney bankster cartel vs. the people of the world. In the absence of any originality the cartel will attempt to take the world to war, but alas they have once again miscalculated. The cartel now faces nuclear war from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. And no, there are no substantive differences between the Israel lobby and Jewish Wall Street. They work hand-in-hand through the Council for Foreign Relations. Again, the United States and the world does not have an economic problem: They have a traitor problem. According to Cicero, any state incapable of prosecuting people for treason is not a state long for this world. My short list for traitors is the following: George W. Bush, Richard Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, Douglas Feith, Nancy Pelosi, Diane Feinstein, and last but not least, Barack Obama. I think you would be amazed at the sobering effect the public executions of such people would have on the mind set of our treasonous governing elite. Of course after due process, that which they attempted to deny to other Americans. That would return the United States to being a constitutional republic. Frankly, no hangings, no recovery.

NDAA detention: Muslim Americans, and then Chinese Americans

Marines are not pissing on the Taliban, but in truth on the U.S. Constitution. For it is clear now for whom the concentration camps, and National Defense Authorization Act is intended: American Muslims, perhaps Americans of Chinese heritage, and Russian Americans. Arab Americans can expect to be rounded up under the false claim that the whole world is a battleground, of course the result of our own machinations, and they must be confined to unlimited military detention for the duration of our war with Iran, yet another contrived event like the Vietnam War, Iraq War, and Afghanistan War. But unlike the latter two, the Iran War will morph quickly into a showdown with Russia and China. Mao Tse Tung summed up why China will draw the line with Iran:

People all over the world are now discussing whether a third world war will break out. On this question, too, we must be mentally prepared and do some analysis. We stand firmly for peace and against war. However, if the imperialists insist on unleashing another war, we should not be afraid of it. Our attitude on this question is the same as our attitude towards any disturbance: first, we are against it; second, we are not afraid of it. The First World War was followed by the birth of the Soviet Union with a population of 200 million. The Second World War was followed by the emergence of the socialist camp with a combined population of 900 million. For Mao, you do not invite war, but neither do you shrink from your duty to resist imperialism of the banksters who wish to enslave the world to debt peonage. Each major conflagration, has brought people around to socialism, as he believed World War III would. Because each World War represented a contradiction of capitalist development or should I say the lack of it.

This writer sees the situation differently. That the U.S. is not practicing capitalism at all, but rather a Federal Reserve mutation of feudalism in which the state is employed extraeconomically to squeeze surplus from mobile peasants through taxes, individual mandates, and the issuance of debt based money. The elite are no longer holding their social position through the judgment of the markets, but through their purchase of political patronage. And as classical feudalism stagnated because there was no incentive to invest in production, when the fruits of that investment would be siphoned off by feudal lords, often by force for their wars, the same exists today where capital or savings is siphoned off through usury, taxes, and individual mandates—and particularly, Federal Reserve inflation. Capitalism has not stopped developing, but has seized up under a command and control economy manipulated by rates of interest conjured by the Federal Reserve which is no more federal than Federal Express.

Like the landed aristocracy of classical feudalism, neofeudalism’s financial oligarchy has run up against the central contradiction of financialism—that the issuance of credit brings into existence the –principal of loans, but does not create money to service the interest on the prior accumulated debt. Hence, credit must be created willy nilly until real income can no longer service the outstanding debt. The Federal Reserve believes it can paper over these contradictions by monetization, but it cannot. At some point, not far off, the system must be purged through bankruptcies, defaults, and liquidations to restore the financial system. Hence, war is employed to distract the peons from their financial woes and onto a scapegoat like the Iranians who present absolutely no threat to the United States.

Chinese Americans also appear to be oblivious to what is playing out around them, just as Jews in Germany couldn’t quite get their heads around the terror rhetoric in Poland and Czechoslovakia fomented by Joseph Goebbels. We are going to war with China if their politburo has any backbone. I suspect like Mao Tse Tung and Chou En Lai in Korea, the Chinese and Hu Jintao will draw the line with Iran, to whom they have too many strategic relations to simply throw to the wind. I suspect, we will then see the true racist colors of the United States, 500 years of waging war against people of color, the desecration of Pashtun Afghanis being just the latest chapter in an ongoing saga of permanent war.

“Iran is our close neighbor, just south of the Caucasus. Should anything happen to Iran, should Iran get drawn into any political or military hardships, this will be a direct threat to our national security,” stressed Dmitry Rogozin, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia.

Russia possesses tens of thousands of nuclear devices so the schoolgirl antics of Ms Clinton are no laughing matter. Conflict in the Persian Gulf could spiral out of control in a heart beat—and I for one, hold Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama accountable. Other commentators need to step up and point out the very real risks these antics have for an unsubstantiated nuclear weapons program.

Not even Leon Panetta can bring himself to cite such a program because there is absolutely no physical evidence that one exists. However, the minute we bomb Iran, I can guarantee the Iranians will move quickly to develop such a weapon, and we will be faced with invading that country and World War III. This is how desperate the ruling elite have become to retain their social position which is completely unmerited by the performance of U.S. foreign policy where we have been forced from Iraq and have been fought to a standstill in Afghanistan. And for what? Imaginary weapons of mass destruction that were no where to be found except in the propaganda of Israel partisans like the neoconservatives and Andrea Mitchell.

Truth: U.S. waging crusade on Islam, and they hate us because of our racism

World War III will be the deadliest war of all time, since it is clear now that Americans are waging a war against Islam, that they are using cynically to provide justification for total war with China and Russia. The Rand Corporation has gamed this scenario out, and the U.S. will be isolated with Israel—perhaps the useful idiots in Britain—but will not win. There was a reason not to dismantle U.S. industry, and it was national defense.

The ruling elites in the U.S. will risk the total destruction of the country to maintain their economic advantage, but will fail. The lucky ones will actually be the dead who will not have to deal with hunger that results from the collapse of agriculture and a nuclear winter, and of course the obligatory radioactive fallout. There will be pockets of humanity that will survive, but no one is going to be wafted up to heaven, that is the lunacy of our christian fundamentalist Taliban and Jewish lobby that is bringing us World War III.

Ron Paul is the only presidential candidate who would stop this madness. The American people? They are too distracted by their bread and circuses to grasp the danger they are now facing—the greatest existential threat to humanity since the Cuban missile crisis. We are not five minutes before doomsday as American scientists maintain, but just a couple of minutes.

Andrea Mitchell: Why dual loyalties make for poor journalism

Tonight in commenting on Ron Paul’s second place finish in the New Hampshire primary, NBC political analyst Andrea Mitchell attempted to maintain that Congressman Ron Paul’s second place showing somehow made him the least likely candidate to win the Republican nomination because he had a foreign policy that reflected the isolationist position of people like Robert A. Taft. Unfortunately, the clearly biased Ms. Mitchell, an ardent Israel supporter and foreign policy interventionist, Robert Taft was known as “Mr. Republican” precisely because he took John Quincy Adams admonition to heart, of not going in search of monsters to destroy. In other words, Americans should attend to their own business and not meddle in the affairs of other countries, which would appear to be Ms. Mitchell’s goal in life and journalism.

Until the stranglehold of journalists like Andrea Mitchell and their slanted reporting is broken, there is no genuine way forward to the formation of a rational consensus and sound foreign policy based upon American national interests. Reporting of this sort formed the backbone of our interventions into Iraq for putatively weapons of mass destruction, and our rape of Libya where the United States installed al Qaeda in the person of Abdelhakim Belhadj to power. I guess, Ms. Mitchell has never met blowback she didn’t approve of as long as its targets benefited Israel, like the aquifers lying beneath the sands of Libya.

Iraq was a foreign policy catastrophe. And her new public relations effort, the bombing of Iran, will equally prove disastrous for the United States. But that is what happens when you have dual loyalties. By contrast, Ron Paul’s only loyalty is to the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law which Ms. Mitchell pays short shrift. The panic was almost palpable in Ms. Mitchell’s voice as she dismissed Ron Paul’s second place finish in New Hampshire, and the fact he polled 24 percent of the vote in the nation’s first primary, second only to Mitt Romney.

U.S. dollar being dumped by Iran; Obama will attack and start WWIII

According to Defense Secretary Leon Panetta when asked whether Iran was trying to develop nuclear weapons he replied sheepishly, “Uh, no. . . . but we know that they are trying to develop a nuclear capability.” This answer reflects that there is no evidence to the effect the Iranians have a weapons program or that the International Atomic Energy Agency has ever found any diversion of weapons grade uranium to such a program. Additionally, the U.S. had tens of thousands of nuclear weapons pointed at it during the Cold War with the U.S.S.R. A country with no autonomously developed nuclear weapon, and no means of delivering the imagined weapon to U.S. shores should not spook nuclear strategists. The true casus belli for going to war with Iran is not the issue of nuclear capability—heck, Japan has that capability—but rather the fact the Iranians have signed currency agreements that will allow settling oil transactions in rubles, renmimbis, or rials that bypasses the dollar. Saddam Hussein and Moammar Kadhafi both attempted to dump the dollar as payment for oil, and were in short order removed from power by the U.S.

The dollar is as the Chinese might have said once, “a paper tiger.” Because the truth is the international community would just as soon drop it as a reserve currency. There is very little value to the dollar since it is unbacked by gold, and is printed out of thin air through monetization of the debt. What prevents other countries from dumping it is that the currency is not backed by value and production, but by force—the U.S. military. This is why the U.S. must attack Iran: to preserve empire and its last vestige, the U.S. dollar. If such dumping or currency arrangements were allowed to continue there might actually be a run on the dollar that drives it down to its true value of zero.

That would destroy the United States.

Alas, the paper tiger is no more, certainly not as a viable reserve currency. This is because after Iraq, Afghanistan, and also Lebanon the U.S. military might has been exposed as anything but effective and have the big dogs on the block, Russia and China, drooling like Pavlovian dogs. Vladimir Putin didn’t like one bit what George W. Bush attempted in the former Soviet republic of Georgia and has been champing at the muzzle to take on the U.S., along with China. What the military establishment is keeping close to the vest is that the coming conflict will undoubtedly go nuclear, because foremost the U.S. does not have the productive surge capacity to wage a conventional war.

Nonetheless, the U.S. is attempting to provide the apparent pretext to war by goading the Iranians to close the Strait of Hormuz. But by leaving Iraq, the U.S. no longer has control over Iraqi airspace and has effectively given the green light to Israel by shortening the flight path to Iran. What’s stopping Israel is actual dissent within its defense and intelligence establishment. While not covered in the U.S. mainstream media, Russia and China have clearly signaled they have drawn the line in the sand with Syria and Iran—and Pervez Musharraf is hastily returning to Pakistan to lead its military in the event of war, and after conducting military exercises with Chinese troops. The ruling elite in America has thoroughly lost control of the situation, simply because it did not have the political will to deal with financial fraud. They have clearly lost their mandate to lead. They are gambling that if they reshuffle the deck of cards militarily they can once again be dealt four aces. Putin and Hu Jintao have decided to call Obama’s pathetic hand.

Methinks that what we’ll actually get is a return to the stone ages. Madeleine Albright and Hillary Clinton think nuclear weapons are just bigger bombs in a military’s arsenal. They are not.

The old FDR dog and pony show returns in hope of World War III

The National Defense Authorization Act for 2012 provides for not only the scrapping of the U.S. Constitution—unlimited military detention of U.S. citizens—but also brings back economic sanctions of the sort that provoked World War II. As any schoolboy historian knows Franklin Delano Roosevelt imposed sanction upon Japan, an oil embargo in 1940, embargos on scrap metal (Japan having little iron ore), and the freezing of Japanese accounts held in the United States. As we know today, this was all done with the strategic objective of forcing Japan to attack the U.S., which they did at Pearl Harbor, so that FDR would have the pretext required to enter the war in Europe against Germany, that had defaulted on loans to American banksters.

However, as they say sanctions against Japan proved tragic, while this time around they have the air of comedy about them. The sanction that anyone buying oil from Iran and clearing the transaction through the Iran central bank will not be able to do business with the United States will frankly only hurt the United States. As the always humorous Pepe Escobar notes, what could such comical policy lead to other than higher oil prices, impairing the U.S. economy and dumbo Barack Obama’s reelection chances. But more importantly, since China is Iran’s largest oil customer, and they have already said they will not honor the sanctions, do you really believe the U.S. is prepared to tell China, our creditor, that they no longer can do business with the U.S.—like as in buying our treasuries.

And what China is clearly aware of, again as any schoolboy who studies Napoleon knows, the U.S. is hell bent on conquering the world, and believes that it can leverage control over the Middle East to dictate and control China’s economy. I for one will be quite interested in seeing whether Obama is really as dumb as he looks with his dumbo ears, and whether he will make this schlock policy fly or whether it will simply crash and burn when the Chinese dump our bonds saying after all why keep such trash. Hey, but what an opportunity for the Chinese to stop purchasing our treasuries that will move the clueless Obama one step closer to destroying the dollar. The miracle of doublethink: a lower dollar and higher oil prices. Obama’s version of austerity and a formula for economic collapse. And as the economy founders, what then of tax revenues? Yes, of course those must go down too which means the issue of even more treasuries, and a larger debt service bill. Plainly, this is unsustainable except to our clueless ruling elite that must believe Zimbabwe got wealthy printing money. This economic model didn’t work for Zimbabwe and won’t work for the U.S.

My advice to the Iranians, don’t fall for a replay of Japan sanctions, and provide the U.S. a pretext for World War III, and allow the Americans to get off the hook by blaming their financial woes on evil Iranians. Bide your time because this economic Titanic is headed straight for an iceberg. Force the Leviathan ship to attack Russia, the graveyard of all delusions of grandeur and madness of world conquest—beginning with Syria. Afghanistan was sort of a mini version of the correct strategy that has worked since the U.S. opted to attack Osceola and the Seminoles in the early 19th century. I understand the Chinese have already briefed the Russkies on the so called grand plan.

Reframing conspiracies by the main stream media; the end of empire

The assassination of Caesar by the Roman Senate could not possibly have happened because it was a conspiracy. Knights of the Golden Circle and John Wilkes Booth’s assassination of Abraham Lincoln could not possibly have happened because it was a conspiracy. Though documented meticulously by Robert Stinnett’s book, Day of Deceit, Pearl Harbor could not have happened because it was a conspiracy to enter the war against Germany on the part of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. That also goes for the Gulf of Tonkin that propelled the U.S. into the Vietnam War which could not have happened because it too was a conspiracy. Anything which happened as a result of a conspiracy could not have happened because they were conspiracies.

Yet, the conspiracy of 19 Arabs that brought down the World Trade Center towers is true because it was a conspiracy. This epitomizes Orwell’s doublethink plus, and Winston Smith’s distortion of language, where the government takes the people for cultural dopes to exercise their tyranny.

It won’t work. Because there is a reality independent of our minds that cannot fool the people all the time. People know when they are hungry, when they are homeless, when they are unemployed, even when they are being killed senselessly by their government for imaginary terrorists concocted by their government. The 1984 Emmanuel Goldstein routine will only take you so far before it is repudiated. Reality forces critical reflection that undermines the perceptions the government seeks to impose on those they dismiss as “useless eaters.” The truth is people know they are human beings and not simply expendable objects, and as the Occupy Wall Street movement testifies to, such consciousness raising is beginning to scare the hell out of our present day Big Brother.

When the military finally rebels as they did in 1918 Germany, the game of our dear leaders, their phony terrorists, their phony wars, and their phony financial crises will come to an end. The fact that a soldier was seriously injured by our fascist security state in Oakland California shows that elements of the military are also awakening. That means the ruling elite is living on borrowed time. The social forces released by the incompetence of the elite simply cannot be put back in the bottle. The smartest of them are characteristically looting the treasury and getting out of town fast, like Robert Rubin, and now that the looting is so transparent the end of empire is quickly approaching.

U.S. aircraft carrier John Stennis has positioned itself in the waters to be used in Iranian naval maneuvers, such as practice in closing the Straits of Hormuz. As Robert Stinnett notes in his book, Day of Deceit, the navy served as sacrificial lambs, i.e., bait, at Pearl Harbor and of course 50 years ago in the Gulf of Tonkin hoax to justify military intervention in Vietnam. But of course they could just scuttle themselves and blame it on the Iranians in a replay of 9/11.

The banksters and our dear power elite do appear to have lost it, now that the economy, the lack of it, is boosting the prospects of the one candidate America’s oligarchy cannot allow to win—Dr. Ron Paul.

Of course, with all the powers Barack Obama has arrogated to himself, perhaps he will simply drop the façade, start a war and suspend the elections. He has shown himself willing to accept orders from bankers, the real government now in both Europe and the United States. And besides why pussy foot around. And while I don’t wish to rain on anyone’s Christmas, Syria’s navy and air force conducted live fire maneuvers this Wednesday. Previously China and Pakistan conducted joint military maneuvers in November of this year, and then in that same month NATO killed 24 Pakistani troops in a airstrike. Last but not least, Russia has its warships in Syrian waters at the same time as the U.S.S. George H.W. Bush, and its military is on high alert in Georgia, that was once slated to be used as an air base in a strike upon Iran.

National Defense Authorization Act provides for new internment camps

Note: The wording in Section 1032 is deceptive. It states, “The requirement to detain a person in military custody under this section does not extend to citizens of the United States.” Some have taken this to mean, mistakenly, that this law does not apply to American citizens. They are mistaken because while the law does not require the President to include American citizens, it does not expressly forbid him from doing so if he chooses. As argued repeatedly on this blog, the American people can retain their empire or they can choose to preserve their democracy, but they will not be able to do both. When Barack Obama signs this bill, and he has indicated he will do so, the U.S. will have chosen empire over democracy and liberty. Since these are essentially the same war powers Franklin Delano Roosevelt arrogated to himself during World War II to incarcerate American citizens of Japanese heritage, it would appear this bill is all about placing the United States on a war footing, not for regional conflict, but for total war, and the mobilization of national resources such a war will demand. The Russians, I should note, are also on a war footing and high alert in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia.

Subtitle D--Detainee Matters

SEC. 1031. AFFIRMATION OF AUTHORITY OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED STATES TO DETAIN COVERED PERSONS PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORIZATION FOR USE OF MILITARY FORCE.

(a) In General- Congress affirms that the authority of the President to use all necessary and appropriate force pursuant to the Authorization for Use of Military Force (Public Law 107-40

(3) the current armed conflict includes nations, organization, and persons who--

(A) are part of, or are) includes the authority for the Armed Forces of the United States to detain covered persons (as defined in subsection (b)) pending disposition under the law of war.

(b) Covered Persons- A covered person under this section is any person as follows:

(1) A person who planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001, or harbored those responsible for those attacks.

(2) A person who was a part of or substantially supported al-Qaeda, the Taliban, or associated forces that are engaged in hostilities against the United States or its coalition partners, including any person who has committed a belligerent act or has directly supported such hostilities in aid of such enemy forces.

(c) Disposition Under Law of War- The disposition of a person under the law of war as described in subsection (a) may include the following:

(1) Detention under the law of war without trial until the end of the hostilities authorized by the Authorization for Use of Military Force.

(2) Trial under chapter 47A of title 10, United States Code (as amended by the Military Commissions Act of 2009 (title XVIII ofPublic Law 111-84)).

(3) Transfer for trial by an alternative court or competent tribunal having lawful jurisdiction.

(4) Transfer to the custody or control of the person’s country of origin, any other foreign country, or any other foreign entity.

(d) Construction- Nothing in this section is intended to limit or expand the authority of the President or the scope of the Authorization for Use of Military Force.

(e) Authorities- Nothing in this section shall be construed to affect existing law or authorities, relating to the detention of United States citizens, lawful resident aliens of the United States or any other persons who are captured or arrested in the United States.

(f) Requirement for Briefings of Congress- The Secretary of Defense shall regularly brief Congress regarding the application of the authority described in this section, including the organizations, entities, and individuals considered to be ‘covered persons’ for purposes of subsection (b)(2).

SEC. 1032. REQUIREMENT FOR MILITARY CUSTODY.

(a) Custody Pending Disposition Under Law of War-

(1) IN GENERAL- Except as provided in paragraph (4), the Armed Forces of the United States shall hold a person described in paragraph (2) who is captured in the course of hostilities authorized by the Authorization for Use of Military Force (Public Law 107-40) in military custody pending disposition under the law of war.

(2) COVERED PERSONS- The requirement in paragraph (1) shall apply to any person whose detention is authorized under section 1031 who is determined--

(A) to be a member of, or part of, al-Qaeda or an associated force that acts in coordination with or pursuant to the direction of al-Qaeda; and

(B) to have participated in the course of planning or carrying out an attack or attempted attack against the United States or its coalition partners.

(3) DISPOSITION UNDER LAW OF WAR- For purposes of this subsection, the disposition of a person under the law of war has the meaning given in section 1031(c), except that no transfer otherwise described in paragraph (4) of that section shall be made unless consistent with the requirements of section 1033.

(4) WAIVER FOR NATIONAL SECURITY- The Secretary of Defense may, in consultation with the Secretary of State and the Director of National Intelligence, waive the requirement of paragraph (1) if the Secretary submits to Congress a certification in writing that such a waiver is in the national security interests of the United States.

(b) Applicability to United States Citizens and Lawful Resident Aliens-

(1) UNITED STATES CITIZENS- The requirement to detain a person in military custody under this section does not extend to citizens of the United States.

(2) LAWFUL RESIDENT ALIENS- The requirement to detain a person in military custody under this section does not extend to a lawful resident alien of the United States on the basis of conduct taking place within the United States, except to the extent permitted by the Constitution of the United States.

(c) Implementation Procedures-

(1) IN GENERAL- Not later than 60 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the President shall issue, and submit to Congress, procedures for implementing this section.

(2)

(3) Any category of information that such an individual is not permitted to discuss or include in any communications made to persons other than Federal Government personnel and members of the Armed Forces or materials the individual has or creates.

(4) Any types of materials to which such an individual is authorized to have access and the process by which such materials, along with materials created by the individual, are reviewed.

(5) The nature of any communication such an individual is permitted to have with any persons other than Federal Government personnel and members of the Armed Forces, including mail, phone calls, and video teleconferences, and the extent to which any such communication is to be monitored.

(6) Any meetings the individual is permitted to have with any persons other than Federal Government personnel and members of the Armed Forces and the extent to which such a meeting is to be monitored.

(7) Any category of information or material that may not be provided to such an individual by persons other than Federal Government personnel and members of the Armed Forces or by the individual’s military or civilian legal counsel or military personal representative.

(8) The manner in which any legal materials or communications subject to review under the protocol will be monitored for the protection of national security while also ensuring that any applicable legal privileges are maintained for purposes of litigation related to trial under chapter 47A of title 10, United States Code, or a petition for habeas corpus.

(9) The measures planned to be taken to implement and enforce the provisions of the security protocol.

(b) Treatment of Classified Material in Security Protocols- A security protocol submitted under subsection (a) shall be in unclassified form but may contain a classified annex.

SEC. 1036. PROCESS FOR THE REVIEW OF NECESSITY FOR CONTINUED DETENTION OF INDIVIDUALS DETAINED ATELEMENTS- The procedures for implementing this section shall include, but not be limited to, procedures as follows:

(A) Procedures designating the persons authorized to make determinations under subsection (a)(2) and the process by which such determinations are to be made.

(B) Procedures providing that the requirement for military custody under subsection (a)(1) does not require the interruption of ongoing surveillance or intelligence gathering with regard to persons not already in the custody or control of the United States.

(C) Procedures providing that a determination under subsection (a)(2) is not required to be implemented until after the conclusion of an interrogation session which is ongoing at the time the determination is made and does not require the interruption of any such ongoing session.

(D) Procedures providing that the requirement for military custody under subsection (a)(1) does not apply when intelligence, law enforcement, or other government officials of the United States are granted access to an individual who remains in the custody of a third country.

(E) Procedures providing that a certification of national security interests under subsection (a)(4) may be granted for the purpose of transferring a covered person from a third country if such a transfer is in the interest of the United States and could not otherwise be accomplished.

(d) Effective Date- This section shall take effect on the date that is 60 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, and shall apply with respect to persons described in subsection (a)(2) who are taken into the custody or brought under the control of the United States on or after that effective date.

In the face of threats from the U.S. and Israel, Iran must arm and quickly

The quickest path to nuclear deterrence is to buy the weapons, not develop them yourself. Development of said weapons is a long term strategic goal, but what is needed is immediate protection for the Iranian people. When a person needs home protection in the U.S. from crazy neighbors like Netanyahu, they go down to the gun store, they do not manufacture them down in their basement. Likewise, states go down to the local black market weapons bazaar and purchase what they need—like from the Ukrainians. The U.S. and its gang of four: Romney, Perry, Gingrich and Bachmann are justifications alone for arming, not disarming.

Iran has not been outside its borders except to defend itself against the U.S. sponsored invasion of Saddam Hussein in the 1980s. Who can forget that picture of Donald Rumsfeld glad handing with Hussein below.

In point of fact, Iran has not ventured beyond its borders in some 200 years. The last was an expedition into Russia in 1826-28, and not surprisingly this was done at the urging of the British. I need only remind readers of Israel’s record in this regard over the short time of its existence—the ultimate in created fictions by the West to absolve themselves of guilt for what happened during World War II, guilt Israel is always eager to exploit for their expansionist ends. Repeated forays by Israel into Lebanon (1982, 2006), the West Bank, and Gaza and Egypt (1967, 1973) in the brief time span of half a century. With a neighbor like that, and friends of Israel like the United States that overthrew a democratically elected Mohammad Mossaddegh in 1953 to install a military dictatorship in Iran, well you have all the justification you need to arm yourself from the “crazies.” And to think the U.S. claims it is the defender of democracy can only bring laughter of derision from the international community.

If the United States attacks Iran, we will not be doing it to defend Israel, which needs no protection since it is bristling with hundreds of nuclear devices; we will be doing it to stick another pin in the dragons to the north, Russia and China. That this might make Israel happy is happenstance, it would not be a strategic objective which is to force China or Russia to make a costly mistake like providing the pretext for World War III. As it happens, Israel is not a queen on the chessboard, but a mere pawn that will be sacrificed in a heart beat. The Scotch-Irish Presbyterians that have made up the officer corps of the U.S. since 1776 do not care about Israel. Israel preens their feathers and acts like peacocks, but are in truth sparrows. It is a replay of the Rooseveltian strategy that led to Pearl Harbor, which was not a surprise but that it took so long to pull off, achieved mainly by cutting off the life blood of Japan—OIL.

The social context for this war is the same as it was for the last world war, a looming global depression that frankly cannot be prevented. The one thing that rings true from the work of Ludwig von Mises is that there is no avoiding the consequences of a credit bubble, a washout cannot be avoided even with all the printing presses of the Federal Reserve. Monetarism as practiced since 2008 has clearly been tested and falsified. The banksters can remain on top only if they can win a global war and bring China and Russia to heel within the global fiat debt based dollar run from Brussels or the Federal Reserve. To do that they must defeat Russia, China, and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The difference from World War II is that the U.S. is now willing it appears to risk nuclear war, weapons that did not exist at the beginning of the last one. That is evidence enough to show how serious the damage to the world economy has resulted from bankster perfidy. Actions are the markers to the underlying order of what actors are actually doing. Don’t ask what actors think they are doing? Just watch. But as noted on this site and maintained by John Kenneth Galbraith, the ruling elite will risk total destruction rather than concede a farthing of their advantage.

Would it be rational to attack Israel if it was found they were involved in 9/11?

What if the situation was reversed between Israel and Iran. Would it be a good idea for America to attack Israel? Now this is not as far fetched as it might first appear, since there is an awful lot of evidence (the Five Dancing Israelis, Larry Silverstein, Maurice Greenberg, and WTC7 that points in the direction of the Mossad) that implicates Israel’s involvement in 9/11. That is, much more evidence exists for Israel’s involvement in 9/11 than for Iran. And there is precedence for Israel attacking the United States, the U.S.S. Liberty in 1967 near the Sinai Peninsula.

Unlike Iran that allows International Atomic Energy Agency inspections of its facilities, Israel does not permit such inspections of its nuclear facilities at Dimona to assess whether nuclear material is being diverted to weapons development. More importantly, Israel does not acknowledge it has nuclear weapons at all. So if Israel has such weapons, and American intelligence believes it does, then they possess such weapons not for deterrence, but for preemptive attack or nuclear primacy. This alone would justify Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons to establish a credible second strike capability.

Now let us assume that American intelligence on Israel is as shoddy as was our intelligence of Iraq. They are in violations of the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty should we attack them if the tables were turned? Quite frankly, it would only be the most foolish of Presidents to do so. If we did so, several hundred Jericho III ballistic missiles might find their way to our shores with various nuclear payloads. Or they might just decide to shoot some off at NATO and Europe as Israeli military historian Martin van Creveld maintains.

Indeed, if our intelligence of Israel is correct we would never rationally opt to attack Israel as long as they could preserve a second strike capability. This is why our attack upon Iraq for purported WMDs was such baloney, because if you really believed the baloney Bush should have been much more circumspect about attacking Saddam, but he wasn’t. Indeed from day one of his presidency, testified to by former Treasury Secretary Paul O’Neill, George W. Bush was hot to trot to invade Iraq which indicates we were not particularly worried about weapons of mass destruction. That is, we actually believed the reports of UNSCOM (the United Nations Special Commission) that it had found no stockpiles of WMDs prior to our attack, and attested to by UNSCOM inspector Scott Ritter. If there was a reason to attack Iraq it was that Saudi Arabia told the U.S. to get out of Riyadh since it was destabilizing the kingdom, and we knew we had to put down roots somewhere else—hence the massive embassy compounds now in Baghdad.

There is no reason to believe our intelligence of Iran is any better than it was for Iraq, perhaps less so. Since we have not just barged into Iran, it is because the latter has some means of deterrence. There would be serious consequences for doing so as indicated by the CENTCOM commander, Admiral William Fallon’s refusal to be a party to such an attack upon Iran.

Now Republican Presidential candidates Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Rick Perry and Michelle Bachmann all maintain that it would be a good idea to attack Iran on behalf of Israel to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon, but this is to ignore the obvious that there is more than one way to skin a cat, and Iran could just as easily purchase fissionable material on the black market, if not the nuclear weapon already mounted on a cruise missile, because there were hundreds of such missiles unaccounted for from the Ukraine at the time of the breakup of the old Soviet Union. Indeed, what makes the candidates so confident that Iran is not already nuclear?

The question for the Republican candidates is not whether you wish to go to war, but whether going to war is worth the possibility of a nuclear exchange? Are the candidates comfortable waging a possible nuclear war with Iran? The American people deserve to know. The American people also deserve to know whether you are willing to risk a direct military confrontation with Russia and China for weapons Iran might already have acquired externally, especially because of our machinations and drone attacks in Pakistan? Now I think that it is telling that former Mossad chief Meir Dagan does not want Netanyahu to attack Iran because of the potential consequences, the conventional consequences themselves being horrific. And as far as the region goes, the Mossad has shown itself to be better collecting intelligence than the U.S. To ape AIPAC to get elected does not instill confidence in the GOP gang of four since they only take into consideration U.S. intelligence that may be completely wrong, as it was in Iraq. Ron Paul is the only statesman saying let’s think this thing through carefully. We don’t need three more cowboys and a cowgirl—we need a statesman.

BANKER BAILOUT: final cost to Americans put at $29 trillion

The truth of the bailouts according to a Ford Foundation study: $29.616 trillion was doled out to the cronies of the Federal Reserve, to date in the Global financial crisis. This is approximately the Gross Domestic Product, the total goods and services produced by the country, for two years. The numbers were crunched by Nicola Matthews and J. Andrew Felkerson as part of the Ford Foundation project, A Research And Policy Dialogue Project On Improving Governance Of The Government Safety Net In Financial Crisis. Truly, the greatest robbery in world history. At the top of the syndicate were former Goldman Sachs’ employees: Robert Rubin, Hank Paulson, Jon Corzine, Mario Monti, Lucas Papademos, Mario Draghi, and Tim Geithner. Now that they have robbed the taxpayers around the world, they want the gold. The 144 metric tons of gold from Libya, the 111 metric tons of gold from Greece, and Italy’s cache of 2,451.8 metric tons of gold. The raid upon traders of MF Global was also about gold—to be precise the futures contracts on precious metals to take delivery of the commodity. I suspect, as others, that this was done to hide the fact that the COMEX, also known as the CRIMEX, does not have the physical gold to deliver. The same also probably applies to Fort Knox and the vaults of the Federal Reserve. There was also gold in the basement of World Trade Center that disappeared on 9/11. About a $billion dollars in bullion is unaccounted for.

The old saw is that those who control the gold also control how the financial rules are written may finally play out.

The tyranny vote: National Defense Authorization Act, and military gulags

The Most important vote in America’s history, passes House 283 to 136; Americans asleep at the wheel of democracy. Senate provision 1867 provides for indefinite military detentions without judicial review or habeas corpus of AMERICAN CITIZENS.

“Section 1031 of the NDAA bill, which itself defines the entirety of the United States as a “battlefield,” allows American citizens to be snatched from the streets, carted off to a foreign detention camp and held indefinitely without trial. The bill states that ‘any person who has committed a belligerent act’ faces indefinite detention, but no trial or evidence has to be presented, the White House merely needs to make the accusation.” What we have here is the notion a law can override the Constitution and the 5th Amendment to due process. If he signs this monstrosity, Obama will have compiled a record that will live in infamy.

The 1 percent is a misnomer. What they are are criminals. Criminals preying on the bottom 99 percent. There is no fix to the economic downturn other than putting the malefactors away where they belong—in prison. Investigating, indicting them, and prosecuting them in accordance with the rule of law dictated by the Constitution. That is the American way. That is the right way. Empty both political parties of their criminals is the only way to restore America.

Update: World War III

1) National Defense Authorization Act includes provision S. 1867 which permits the President to incarcerate American citizens without judicial review and habeas corpus. A replay of the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II. Domestically, the current regime is being pressed by the Occupy Wall Street movement.

2) Reports have surfaced that Kellogg Brown and Root, the contractor for detention camps across the United States has begun to staff them, and ready them for occupants.

3) Movement of American Special Forces into the border area of Jordan and Syria has now been confirmed, by former FBI translator and analyst Sibel Edmonds. Israel's Debkafile also reported these findings this morning, Dec. 13, 2011.

4) Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has conferred with Syrian rebels, and break away members of the Syrian military.

5) The carrier group U.S.S. George H.W. Bush has entered Syrian waters, and the Russian cruiser/aircraft-carrier Admiral Kuznetsov is steaming to Syrian waters with a task force of other war ships.

6) Chinese troops have entered Kashmir with the blessings of the Pakistan government. China says it will wage World War III if need be.

7) Russia has activated its early warning missile defense. Says conflicts at its periphery could trigger nuclear war.

8) Importantly, the global financial system is unraveling.

9) Syria has taken delivery of Russia’s advanced anti-aircraft defense system the S-300.

10) Massing of troops along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border in October of this year, and the killing of 24 Pakistani troops. Like oops. It was all a big mistake. I don't think so. This was what was occurring before NATO besieged Libya.

Taken together, these actions indicate war in the not too distant future. Syria has mutual defense treaties with Iran creating a domino effect like the Great War triggered in 1914 that will in turn bring in Russia and China to defend their strategic interests. The impotence of the United Nations to prevent acts of aggression, and even foster them is a reprise of the League of Nations ineffectiveness prior to World War II. The script has been readied: lights, action, cameras.

Actions of this sort indicate America’s ruling elite are truly desperate—to save themselves. Will Newt be the next Hitler. Stayed tuned.

ABC accused of distorting interview through editing; you mean lying?

Heaven forbid that the ABC Network for the advancement of Goebbels reporting should be caught lying, like the existence of Saddam’s imaginary weapons of mass destruction, reported on April 26, 2003 by ABC’s Claire Shipman. If you wish to know what the CIA is up to watching ABC is a must. But if you want the truth concerning current events, consult the internet. This latter fact is why the U.S. government is working tirelessly to shut it down. So in the absence of the ability to do so, thus far, they pressure sites like Facebook to do it for them. Like the removal of the video the Syrian Arab News Agency posted exposing ABC’s “creative editing.” Yet this is consistent with William Randolph Hearst’s coverage of the Maine, the unknown history revealed in Robert Stinnett’s book Day of Deceit, the reportage of the Gulf of Tonkin attack, and ABC’s most recent gem, its coverage of NATO’s war against Libya. ABC News is in reality not a news organization, but a public relations agency for the State Department. As long as you keep that in mind, it is a fascinating source for understanding the inner workings of the U.S. government, and a mouth piece for the ruling elite. With that said, here is the Syrian Arab News Agency’s take on the editing of the Barbara Walters interview with Bashar Al Assad.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman: ABC Channel Deliberately Distorted the Meaning of the Interview with President al-Assad through Editing

DAMASCUS, (SANA) – Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ministry Spokesman Dr. Jihad Makdessi affirmed on Friday that the US channel ABC distorted the meaning of their interview conducted by Barbara Walters with President Bashar al-Assad through editing.

In a press conference, Makdessi said that the channel omitted parts of the interview to manufacture similarities between what the channel broadcast and the statements of the US State Department spokesman Mark Toner before the interview which the Syrian Foreign Ministry corrected earlier.

"We believed that the channel would broadcast the interview in an optimal manner reflecting what President al-Assad said. However, the distortion that took place wasn't surprising… it's every channel's right to perform editing but in a manner that doesn't distort content, especially when it comes to a president of a country and a country such as Syria," he said, noting that they say that Syria doesn't allow the media in, and when Syria does they resort to distortion, stressing that Syria only filters out non-objective material and doesn't band media.

Makdessi said that Toner sought to undermine the interview before it was broadcast by saying that President al-Assad doesn't assume responsibility to strike at the Syrians' integrity and the Syrian army, noting that after the failure to attack Syria through economy, politics, diplomacy and sectarianism, they sought to target the Syrian army by depicting it as operating alone.

Makdessi made a comparison between the interview with President al-Assad and the fragmented bits broadcast by the channel after editing them and distorting their meaning by manipulating three subjects: the Syrian army, distance from reality and irrationality, and the UN.

He pointed that Walters broached the first issue around six or five times, and used loaded questions that cannot be answered with a simple yes or no. For example, she asked "did your armed forces treat protestors with exaggerated brutality" and President al-Assad corrected her by saying that they are not "his" forces but rather armed forces that belong to the government and he doesn't own them.

She retorted by saying that he has to issue orders, and President al-Assad by saying that this is incorrect and that according to constitution and law, this institution is tasked with protecting the people and confronting any chaos or terrorists.

In response to a question on whether some retaliations or killings were carried out without his permission, President al-Assad said that there's a difference between having a policy that stipulates crackdown and mistakes carried out by officials, noting that having such a policy would be like what happened in Guantanamo when a torture policy is used.

President al-Assad said that there was no policy to crack down on or torture people, but rather mistakes were committed – or allegedly committed – by individuals, which is why a committee was formed to investigate what happened.

On punishing people who made mistakes, he said that they would be punished if there is evidenced, but not if there's just rumors and allegations, saying that there's an independent judicial committee tasked with detaining those who are guilty and presenting them to trial.

President al-Assad stressed that there was no crackdown policy, but rather a policy for confronting terrorists, pointing out that the United States doesn't allow gunmen to run free, recalling what happened in Los Angeles in the 1990's when the army was sent to the city to deal with gunmen.

He also asked who killed 1,100 soldiers, saying that those who can't find out who killed the soldiers can't possible know who killed civilians.

In response to a question on whether he believed that the crackdown was overused in the beginning, President al-Assad said that he couldn't say that without evidence and that she was asking him to respond according to rumors and reports, both of which aren't sufficient to him as President, stressing that when people make mistakes and there's tangible evidence of that, then he can say yes or no.

On whether he gave an order to crack down, President al-Assad denied that and said that orders were given to apply constitution and law, and on the use of rifles and arrests, he said that the use of rifles was forbidden and that the forces' policy was prevention using methods such as plastic batons, stressing that any use of automatic firearms was a violation of law and when it happened, the ones responsible were arrested.

In response to a question on whether he sees that there are people fighting for freedom or rather separate events, President al-Assad stressed that there are diverse components and that not all people are fighting for freedom, saying that there are those who want freedom which is why reforms were commenced, saying that he acknowledges the existence of such people.

He noted that most of those who want freedom didn't go out in protests and that no all the people in the streets are protesting from freedom, as there are extremists, outlaws, escaped convicts, drug dealers and people with al-Qaeda mentality.

President al-Assad added that funds are brought from abroad to wage a media and propaganda war, with people being paid off to protest for 15 or 30 minutes so that the media sees protests, adding that there are actual protests and peaceful demonstrations in addition to extremists and terrorists, sometimes in the same place.

On people who were killed and tortured, he pointed out that there have been terrorists since the beginning who killed people, murdering more than 1,100 soldiers and policemen, asking if these were killed by peaceful protests.

In response to a query on whether any peaceful protestors were tortured or killed, President al-Assad said that any barbaric reaction came from individuals and not institutions, stressing that no institution in Syria gave order to respond with brutality, adding that when there's chaos in an area then anyone can make mistakes or even committed a crime.

On what he considers the biggest misconception in the United States about the events in Syria, President al-Assad said that there are many misconceptions and much distortion of facts in the media, stressing that accumulation of distorted facts prevents the formation of a vision, which he said was a general problem for the west in general in regards to the Middle East.

He went on to say that the misconceptions about the Syrian government killing its own people is wrong, and that no government would do so unless it's run by a madman, adding that he became a president through popular support, and that no-one in Syria could possibly give orders to kill.

President al-Assad noted that there are gunmen who kill soldiers and civilians, and that 9 civilians were killed in Homs on the day the interview was recorded, most of them pro-government, while other mistakenly assume that all the dead people are protestors and that every civilian is against the government.

On the UN report that was issued recently, accusing the Syrian government of committing crimes against humanity, President al-Assad responded by calling for sending the "tangible evidence and documents" they possess to verify them, noting that the UN never sent them anything, and that they don't even have the names of people who were raped and tortured.

Regarding the UN relying on the testimonies of 225 people they claim to have interviewed in their accusations, President al-Assad said that they should send the documents, otherwise nothing can be said and something can't be acknowledged just because the UN said it.

President al-Assad said that the UN isn't a credible establishment as it has double standards because of the United States' control over it, adding that the UN didn't carry out any resolution relevant to the Arab world, whether it relates to the Palestinian people or Syrian lands.

He also wondered that if the UN is concerned about human rights, then why don't they consider the suffering of the Palestinians in the occupied lands and the Syrians who left their land which Israel occupied, noting that the UN has no credibility not just in his eyes, but also in the eyes of every citizen and the whole region, adding that the UN has had no credibility since before his generation.

On the presence of a Syrian ambassador in the UN, the President said "this is a game one plays, but this doesn't believe that one believes in it."

In his press conference, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Makdessi said that the way the questions were asked was meant to demonize Syria and depict what President al-Assad was saying in a way that contradicts reality, voicing regret over this deliberate mistake.

He said that the message directed to the UN that is had success stories in some areas and failure stories in others, with most of the failure taking place in the Middle East.

Makdessi stressed that President al-Assad didn't avoid responsibility and affirmed that he's constitutionally responsible for the country, but mistakes happen and they will be accounted to, all of which was ignored by ABC and other channels that began to interpret the interview however they wanted.

He noted that the issue of protests and their nature was broached repeatedly in order to find a suitable statement to take out of context, adding that ABC omitted the reference to al-Qaeda because the word has weight to the American citizens.

Makdessi pointed out that the channel also used images of opposition protests in the interview's background without bothering to show other images to balance them out, and that they also neglected what President al-Assad said about the civilians who were murdered and how they died.

He stressed that the irrational and mad ones are those who drag their armies to futile wars like in Afghanistan and Iraq where more than 6,000 US soldiers died along with many Iraqis, in addition to the Iraqis who displaced.

"Irrationality is spending trillions of US dollars form American taxpayers during an intense economic crisis on an ally in the Middle East who refused a request to suspend settlement activities for only six days," he said.

On the statements of Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari regarding mediation with Syria, Makdessi said that heard of this statement through the media and that the Ministry didn't receive anything, thanking him for the good intentions in principle.

On President al-Assad stance regarding the violence and Syria's stance towards the UN, Makdessi said that President al-Assad and the Syrian government feel sorrow over the continuing violence, stressing that the President must find solutions to the country's problems that suit Syria itself, not ones that suit neighboring, regional and international forces.

He stressed that President al-Assad promised that there will be accountability and that there are strict instructions to not use live ammo, and that Syria believes that the solution can only be achieved by Syria, adding that the Arabs should help Syria by stopping instigation, the flow of weapons and Thuraya phones, pressure and sanctions, because all of that doesn't help.

Makdessi said that Syria wants others to back its assessment of the situation rather than supporting armed conflicts, affirming readiness to cooperate and voicing faith in finding a dignified way out of this crisis for all sides, adding that Syria wants those abroad to be convinced to believe in dialogue and that there are no taboos.

On Syria dealing with others with good intentions and how to guarantee their own good intentions, Makdessi said that there's no guarantee except actions on the ground, adding that the Arab League Secretary General's response arrived and is being studied.

He stressed that the bet is on the Syrian people and an internal Syria solution, along with betting on external forces to help with good intentions, calming and directing others towards rationality of demands and working with Syria.

As soon as the Senate passed S. 1867, I thought of my father. George Seiji Takayanagi. He served as a master sargent in the 522nd Artillery Battalion attached to the 442nd Regimental Combat Team. He’s the one on the right in the above picture. His nose is a little flatter and broader than mine having boxed as an AAU amateur. He was called the Sandman in those days but I was never sure whether it was because he put his competitors to sleep or he himself was knocked out. I never asked.

Not once did he, nor my uncle a 442nd veteran, ever mention World War II. Not that they had anything to be ashamed of, members of the 442nd and 522nd served with distinction, and were recently honored with the Congressional Gold Medal for their service. Like black soldiers and pilots, people like my father wanted the Constitution and the rule of law to be applied fairly without consideration of race or ethnicity. The whole point of fighting was to prevent the repeat of unconstitutional indefinite military detentions of the sort inflicted on 100,000 American citizens of Japanese ancestry forced from their homes. Now it is back cloaked as necessary to fight the war on a tactic called terrorism. Frankly, you cannot wage war on a tactic.

Some say the vote for S. 1867 was a repeal of the Constitution, but the grounds for America’s descent into fascism was paved long ago after Pearl Harbor in Supreme Court decisions handed down in Hirabayashi v. U.S., Korematsu v. U.S., and Endo v. U.S. that stripped American citizens of their liberty and their property. The minority opinion in the Hirabayashi case by Justice Frank Murphy stated,

“Today is the first time, so far as I am aware, that we have sustained a substantial restriction of the personal liberty of citizens of the United States based on the accident of race or ancestry . . . It bears a melancholy resemblance to the treatment accorded to members of the Jewish race in Germany . . . This goes to the very brink of constitutional power.”

Indeed. That the U.S. would embrace fascism and eviscerate the Constitution is not hard to fathom after the staged event known as 9/11, it was presaged in the predictions of James Madison in 1795.

“Of all enemies to public liberty, war is perhaps the most dreaded because it compromises and develops the germ of every other [I might add here that this phraseology is very similar to the Nuremberg Tribunal for wars of aggression]. . . The discretionary power of the executive is extended. Its influence in dealing out offices, honors and emoluments is multiplied; and all means of seducing the minds are added to those of subduing the force of the people.—James Madison, 1795.

It is this writer’s opinion that broad swaths of both parties in Congress know they have committed war crimes by planning, promoting, and executing wars of aggression in violation of the U.N. Charter and importantly the Nuremberg Tribunal, to which the U.S. is a signatory. A halfway educated person has only to consult the data and findings of the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth to know beyond a reasonable doubt that the government’s 9/11 fable does not wash. The reintroduction of martial law under S. 1867 is consciousness of guilt, and the fact they (Congress and the President) are guilty of crimes against humanity, the millions who are dead as a result of “shock and awe” in Iraq (as estimated by epidemiologist Les Roberts of Johns Hopkins University).

Absent an American polity that finally regains its senses, the future is wholly predictable as the war criminals seek to save themselves by risking another war that will be nuclear. Always keep in the mind, Americans are the only people barbaric enough thus far to use nuclear weapons. They not only fear the strawmen they have manufactured, Al Qaeda, but now their own citizens who are not the cultural dopes they once imagined. So as they did before, the ruling Scotch-Irish/Presbyterians and Jews now seek once again a reprisal of Pearl Harbor to take the country to war.

Their strategy is simple: if you stick enough pins into a rattlesnake, sooner or later you’re going to get bit. Apply enough sanctions, deadly breaches of sovereignty, and cut off strategic resources like oil, and sooner or later China, Russia or one of its proxy states will strike the U.S. and provide the pretext for World War III. Though if the Chinese, Iranians, and Russians follow the teachings of Sun Tzu they will allow the Anglo-war criminals to simply expend blood and treasure until they, both Britain and the U.S., have undermined their economies.

The irony is that the U.S. really cannot launch a preemptive attack because it would well . . . be a little bit too much like Pearl Harbor. But as Robert Stinnett showed conclusively in Day of Deceit and Pat Buchanan more recently in his article, “Did FDR Provoke Pearl Harbor?”: Pearl Harbor was arranged by sticking enough pins in that snake, and was known to be doing so by Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s inner circle. As Roosevelt’s Secretary of War Henry Stimson mused, “The question was how we should maneuver them (i.e., the Japanese) into . . . firing the first shot without allowing too much danger to ourselves.” However, luring Japan into a war was not FDR’s ultimate objective; it was to have the galvanizing power of Pearl Harbor to enter the war against Germany. Just as today, the main targets are Russia and China and not the proxy state of Iran. Cut off China’s oil, and it will have to go to war—end of story.

Well never say that sociology is not an important subject. Because relying on knowledge of Bushido culture Roosevelt knew the Japanese would not tolerate humiliation and dishonor, and would eventually attack given enough provocation, and importantly the bait of the Pacific Fleet anchored at Pearl Harbor. S. 1867: Levin and McCain the modern day reprisal of Heckle and Jeckle

As the Scotch-Irish did under World War II Assistant War Secretary John J. McCloy, the incarceration of Japanese Americans without due process and judicial review, they now do again under Johnny McCain, the incarceration of suspected terrorists without trial or habeas corpus.

What’s obviously going on here is that the government is getting ready to go to war and converting the domestic front into a battlefield. There was a reason to award Kellogg-Brown and Root in January of 2006 large contracts to build detention camps after all. We’ll just call them “multicultural relocation camps” in lieu of the more well known moniker of concentration camps for ethnic minorities. McCain coming from Arizona probably would like to think of them as “reservations.” And that Carl Levin, a Jew, got in on the act is the real topper. I guess it just slipped his mind that Dachau, Auschwitz, and Buchenwald also resulted from a lack of judicial review or perhaps judicial review presided over by jurists the likes of Carl Schmitt. History first comes around as tragedy and then later farce.

Yes, Barack Obama would be wise to veto such a bill since it ostensibly is aimed at malefactors who give aid and comfort to Al-Qaeda. Hey, that might mean you, Mr Emperor Obama, the guy who put Al-Qaeda in power in Libya. Perhaps what Heckle and Jeckle are really up to is providing the grounds for a military takeover, since as I read this bill and the fact many in Congress empowered Al-Qaeda, the military would be within its authority under this bill to incarcerate the Pope of Hope and jail lots of Congress persons.

Corruption of the Public Sphere

Prepare for the collapse. However, it’s not by accident, but by design.

It is designed to take the United States to war, and to save the bacon of the ruling elite who have completely undermined the world economy. It will be more destructive than World War II, because the plan is for one world government, and the issuance of a one world debt based currency. The model is to create financial Armageddon to force nations to give up their sovereignty.

Likewise to force acceptance of one world government, the plan is to use thermonuclear war, actual Armageddon, that forces recalcitrant nations to give up their sovereignty and to accept peace policed by the U.S. in exchange for their survival. It is the ultimate Hobbesian solution to the problem of order.

However, Russia and China know what the plan is, and that is the fly in the ointment. European crisis reaches the core of the World financial system: the U.S.

Long-term US interest rates rose in response to Federal Reserve deal to bail out European banks, swapping dollars for euros. Talk about taking on a toxic asset, and again stiffing the American taxpayer, that is it. More importantly the rise in rates on the 30 year bond indicates the European crisis that began on its margins in Greece and Portugal, moved to Italy and Spain, and recently infected the heart of the Eurozone, Germany, has now begun to move to the U.S. as investors demand higher yields to compensate for the devaluation of the currency—in this case the dollar.

This is good news for hedge fund managers like John Paulson who have positioned themselves to benefit from higher yields on US Treasury securities. Because what do we know with certainty: that every fiat currency that has ever existed has been printed to oblivion by central banks without exception. The euro and dollar are not going to be any different, and that is what investors have finally woken up to, in both Europe and now the United States. The idea that European banks have a liquidity crisis is to this writer pure baloney. They are insolvent, and would have been declared such long ago if not for accounting gimmicks in both the U.S. and Europe. The Fed is attempting to stem the inevitable, when bankrupt banks must face the music and dispose of their assets, treasuries and real estate that is becoming more worthless by the day. However, the banksters know the truth, and this is why the spread between the interbank loan rate, what banks charge one another for money, and short term U.S. Treasury bills continues to rise.

Well, hedge fund gurus like Mr Paulson are not going too far out on a limb when he says that government stimulus efforts will inevitably lead to higher inflation and a corresponding rise in rates, indicated by the Fed’s latest deal to bail out European banks again, since much of the $16.1 trillion doled out by the Fed already went to them. This was revealed by the first ever audit of the Fed. More recently another $7.7 trillion was found to have been doled out to the bankers, bringing the grand total of the larceny to roughly $23.7 trillion, the exact figure cited in 2009 by TARP special inspector general Neil Barofsky. That is, the Fed is really the central bank to the world, and if the Germans do not wish to pay the price to save the euro, it appears the Fed is more than willing to hang that albatross around the neck of the American taxpayer.

Now this writer has been watching 30 year bond prices, and those prices have fallen to around the 140 point level. The uptrend channel is 139.85. I think it must hold above that level to not signal a trend change down which concomitantly means a rise in interest rates. The Fed cannot bail out the Europeans without hurting the U.S. bond market though if Europe goes down it will obviously cause havoc once again in the U.S. The bailing wire and chewing gum holding the whole financial edifice together is unsustainable.

Mr. Paulson who bet against the mortgage backed securities fraud came out smelling like a rose, and betting against the U.S. bond market as PIMCO and Bill Gross have also done is the correct trade. Monetization leads to inflation and higher rates until the U.S. can no longer find funding for its deficits. The Fed will be forced to step in and print the currency to oblivion.

China says it is prepared for World War on the issue of Iran sanctions

Like the tone deaf Douglas MacArthur, both Russia and China are sending nondistorted communications to the effect that Iran is every bit as important as the 38th Parallel. That is, after repeated warnings as in Korea their resolve to protect their national interests and borders is paramount.

I was at least happy to see the Japanese American Citizen League opposed S. 1867 of the National Defense Authorization Act permitting the detainment of citizens without judicial review. This chipping away of civil liberties is also reminiscent of Nazi Germany, and I would point out the Jewish American community has been far less than vocal in their criticism of the bill introduced by one of their own, Sen. Carl Levin. As for the Scotch-Irish McCain, this is par for the course—the guy is another Andrew Jackson who wants to round up the Cherokees and confine them to Oklahoma. The Russian aircraft/cruiser war ship the Kuznetsov will sail into Syrian waters soon. While it has the capacity to launch MIG 29 fighters, it is also armed with P-700 Granit cruise missiles able to reach a top speed of Mach 2.5. The P-700 come armed with conventional and nuclear warheads with a potential throw weight of 200-500 kilotons. This announcement comes on the heel that the U.S. carrier George H.W. Bush has also entered Syrian waters. U.S. aircraft carriers like the U.S.S. George H.W. Bush amount to a floating coffin against the Russian’s hypersonic anti-ship missiles.

Might the U.S. sacrifice the crew of the carrier to justify World War III. I think it is a high probability since as Robert Stinnett points out in his book Day of Deceit, this is precisely what the U.S. did at Pearl Harbor. Additionally the passage of S.1867 Military Construction Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 sets the stage for the detainment of Americans without judicial review, like the Japanese Americans during World War II. And all this is taking place against a backdrop of the collapse of the world financial system, that I believe is imminent.

This of course will make the bankster occupied government of the United States complicit in crimes against its own people. This is a one party government with two corrupt wings, and now with the passage of S. 1867, we shall have two sets of laws: one for the banksters who have been insulated from prosecution for obvious fraud and the other for ordinary Americans subject now to detainment without judicial review for just about any contrived reason. We only now have to await the next Manzanar. When the Americans are finally tried for their crimes we will also hear the same sorry refrain, “we we’re just following orders.” Come to think of it, Newt Gingrich would make a good Colonel Klink.

You are going to see a collapse of the U.S. by design, and then the seizure of assets like the national park system, and other public commons by the banksters. That is the whole point of producing a debt crisis, to convert currency the banksters have created out of thin air into actual tangible assets like lands, mineral rights, and the privatization of public facilities, built with tax payer monies. It is the confiscation of congealed stored up labor by the 1 percent banking oligarchy—or financial services.

There will only be two classes left standing when the looting ends, as Karl Marx predicted long ago—the Rich and Poor. The big news today was the failure of the German bond auction which saw 35 percent of the bonds the Germans were attempting to float failing to get bids. Capital is drying up and leaving Europe, if the so called strongest member is unable to obtain funding for its debt. Again, I think it is over. Europe will roll over into a recession next year, followed by the United States.

It is every man and woman for themselves. The spinning world economy is wobbling badly and will topple over. Economic instability producing political volatility, and eventually conflict.

A lot of hoopla was generated in the run up to the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis taped conversations with Arthur Schlesinger, recently released in a book edited by Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg. London’s Daily Mail initially reported there were some startling admissions forthcoming in the transcripts. Researching the Daily Mail’s assertions of explosive revelations, this writer stumbled upon video taped interviews done with Madeleine Duncan Brown, the mistress of Lyndon Baines Johnson for some 21 years, who bore a child by the former President.

Indeed an assertion by the Daily Mail to the effect Johnson met with well heeled businessmen in Dallas prior to John F. Kennedy’s assassination, and that he participated in JFK’s death is confirmed by this compelling tape interview by Robert Gaylon Ross. Ms. Brown died in 2002, yet the main stream media has remained largely silent regarding its revelations. A key revelation being that John J. McCloy was at that meeting one night before the assassination. McCloy was the Assistant Secretary of War in the Roosevelt administration, and one time president of the World Bank. And while LBJ insider Clint Murchison was a sympathizer of American Nazi founder George Lincoln Rockwell, good ol’ boy McCloy actually pardoned Nazi war criminals as the high commissioner of Germany following WWII. In particular, with Onassis’ observations it provides a fuller view of the visceral nature of the feud between the Kennedys and Johnson, and that it was not just confined to Texas. The east coast political establishment signed off on the assassination, and why the word “conspiracy” has become verboten in the corporate media.

Super committee alters the equation on war somewhat for Barack Obama's term, but the long term outlook in a permanent war economy, is well . . . war. The surprising conclusion is that the ruling elite would even entertain a direct confrontation with Russia and China, who are preparing as I type. Both Russian war ships and the George H.W. Bush carrier are now in the same waters off Syria. China and Pakistan have concluded joint military exercises. U.S. has evacuated its embassy in Damascus, and Bashar al-Assad has taken delivery of Russian s-300 surface to air anti-aircraft defenses. With the fall of Cush and Put (Libya), the preconditions for the self-fulfilling prophecy of Armageddon has been set.

Who the heck are they kidding? Congress finally finds the political will to impose austerity on the peasants, by mandating automatic cuts from an illegal super committee that bypasses their designated Constitutional responsibilities for the budget. Like the austerity in Greece and Italy the draconian cuts will produce a recession (i.e., depression if statistics prior to Bill Clinton were employed) on the schmoes. But no new taxes on the rich.

Public sector employees will be let go across the board including the sacred cow of all sacred cows the military. This will shrink aggregate demand in the economy, no doubt, and paired with the abandonment of a payroll tax holiday for average Americans of $1000 will contract discretionary spending for the schmoes. Like tax revenues in Greece and Italy, U.S. austerity will not boost tax revenues but will lead to even more borrowing. However, unlike Greece and Italy, the Federal Reserve figures to lower the value of the dollar aggressively from here, boosting inflation on the schmoes that will force cut backs in discretionary spending. But the rich get to keep their loot.

The question is whether a lower dollar will actually spur exports and growth of the economy to stave off default. The truth is that as the dollar index has fallen from 120 to the 70s, the country’s trade deficits have increased, because the import of oil priced in devalued dollars is . . . more expensive. Check mate. Frankly, the best way to get out of the fix the Federal Reserve has created would be to declare a debt jubilee; that is, wipe out the debt, and the banksters that extended loans that are not repayable. Reinstitute Glass-Steagall separating investment and commercial banking, and regulate the derivatives markets. Protect savers by insuring deposits, and breaking up and reorganizing the banks and selling them off to stronger hands. Quit protecting the malefactors that brought on the housing fraud. Until the political establishment does that or until they are finally mercifully voted out of office, the economy figures to stagnate. But the rich get to keep their loot.

The hardest truth is that it will take a generation to bring back manufacturing, perhaps longer without an industrial policy and industrial democracy.

The good news is that our goyim Congress finally found some political will to repudiate the neoconservatives’ “doctrine of full spectrum dominance.” Military cuts will make the policy wholly unsustainable. Yes we can impose sanctions on Iran, but I think an attack upon Iran from our end is less likely—because the super committee just admitted that the country is flat broke, and the $1.2 trillion in cuts is essentially to support the bond markets and put off the rise in interest rates, a little little longer.

The only rational answer is for our dear leaders to grow up and shrink the empire, and make Barack Obama a president of a republic as opposed to his delusions of grandeur of being an emperor. This of course doesn’t prevent Israel from rolling the dice, but without assurances of U.S. military support it poses high risks, and besides the attack would merely delay Iran’s development of nuclear expertise, not stop it. After Libya, there will be no stopping any country from pursuing nuclear weapons to defend themselves from us to say nothing of the U.N.

The downside to all of this is of course what happens if the economy doesn’t grow? How long before the peaceful Occupy Wall Street protests turn into an actual revolution. And on on the military side, would the Joint Chiefs of Staff ever consider seizing power and shutting down the Congress to save their livelihood. Another powerful incentive for starting World War III.

Finally, what happens if Ron Paul decides to run as an independent in 2012? Those of us who have been watching the polling numbers closely know that a Paul run will undermine the Republicans and their war mongering Mitt Romney. Paul should run on that basis alone. But I actually think he can garner more votes than Obama in a three person race, but not poll a majority. Which would make the electoral college, that protects the establishment, the transparent decider to use George W. Bush’s term, that may run counter to the popular vote.

Political legitimacy is a fickle thing. It can vanish in a flash. As the Chinese say, “we live in interesting times,” but I understand the proverb was actually a curse. And in the end: the rich do get to keep their loot.

The ruling elite—that which C.W. Mills called the power elite—have so cracked up the world financial system that all the king’s horses and all the king’s men cannot put it back together again. Certainly not Merkozy, Germany’s Angela Merkel and France’s Nicolas Sarkozy. The financial system is unraveling with each passing day, MF Global being just the latest aftershock. The so called rulers, the Merkels, Sarkozys, and Obamas are palpably sweating bullets. John Kenneth Galbraith was prescient when he noted that a privileged class would risk total destruction rather than give up a farthing of their advantaged or as I have maintained, the ruling elite will risk war to save their system since it obviously privileges the 1 percent, at the expense of the other 99 percent of the populace.

The problem is that to save themselves will entail negating the system.

No Justice, no prosperity, and the failure of the capitalist system. And as it fails, like a spinning top, it begins to wobble uncontrollably until it topples over. This is about where we are in terms of foreign policy as well, since the system cannot support the military expenditures required to sustain the policy of full spectrum dominance. Thus the ruling elite must risk war. They cannot do as Adam Smith recognized was necessary to restore trust in the system by prosecuting themselves. Yet because the fraud continues to go on unchecked, now MF Global has unraveled undermining trust even further in the commodity markets. This capitalist system is doomed, it is not a matter of if but only when.

This is why despite repeated warnings by Russia’s Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, the United States has concocted the Iranian assassination hoax, used the U.N. to topple Kadhafi, and is now arming Syrian rebels. Heck maybe the Russkies will see their way to arming OWS rebels as quid pro quo so that Americans might also have democracy before the end times. No matter, American actions are intended to provoke Russians leadership because radical Christian fundamentalists who have infiltrated the U.S. military establishment see Russia as the embodiment of Gog and Magog, the forces of evil to which Armageddon must be waged. My guess Russia represents Gog the anti-Christ and Iran and Russia are the territory Magog. You know like the Russkies helped build nuclear facilities in the land of Magog.

Yes, Persia is present day Iran. The crazies plus the military, and then you stir in the toxic brew of financial collapse, and you end up with a viable recipe for nuclear war. Unfortunately the scientifically challenged “crazies” might not fully grasp there is a big difference between war and a thermonuclear conflagration. Because that is what Armageddon today would quickly morph into. The rest of the prophecy plays out like this: the Jews convert to Christianity and the true believers are wafted up to heaven to watch the proceedings from the safety of the clouds.

Well I’m not going to hold my breath for the first part of the prophecy, since Jews already consider themselves God’s chosen people, but the last part that humanity will get to meet its maker is probably accurate. Thermonuclear war will be followed by a nuclear winter that will destroy agriculture and decimate the world’s population. If that’s what the 1 percent wants to rule over, you will understand why I refer to them as the “crazies.” Russian General Nikolai Makarov issued this warning:

“under certain conditions local and regional conflicts may develop into a full-scale war involving nuclear weapons.” said Makarov.

“The possibility of local armed conflicts along nearly the whole border has increased dramatically. In certain conditions, I do not rule out local and regional armed conflicts developing into a large-scale war, including using nuclear weapons.”

Here, I have no doubt the dear General is referring to Iran. In any event a shockwave from a 50 megaton device would, for example, extend from downtown Los Angeles to the edge of Palm Springs, 100 miles away. Pretty much everybody in a 60 mile radius of ground zero would be toast instantly. Nuclear exchanges will throw up into the atmosphere so much dust, smoke, and debris it will blot out the sun like the eruption of Krakatoa, with the kicker it will be radioactive. After Krakatoa’s eruption global temperatures fell by 2.2 degrees Fahrenheit the following year.

Today, Russia deployed war ships off the coast of Syria. China has been moving troops into Kashmir to conduct military exercises with Pakistan, and Iran has just filed for full membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The U.S. and NATO are arming Syrian rebels, as they did in Libya. The world’s financial system might not survive out the year. And presidential candidate Mitt Romney continues to espouse war with Iran, though the latter could never be a threat to U.S. existence without inviting their own total annihilation.

This is reminiscent of Douglas MacArthur who ignored the warnings from Chinese leadership before U.N. forces crossed the 38th Parallel. As RAND analyst Allen Whiting points out, Chinese propaganda and official statements repeatedly warned against American “miscalculation” and “failure in communication,” and as the United States failed to grasp China’s resolve to defend its borders in 1950 they are again failing to grasp Russia’s resolve to defend its borders today.*

The world risks total destruction for this small country on the Mediterranean. Insane but true.

In the event, the “crazies” succeed, this website might go to black. Though the internet was originally designed to specifically survive nuclear war. If not, have a nice eternity up there in the clouds dear readers. If nothing else you can stop worrying about the future and what other people think. We’re not going back to the Dark Ages; we’re going back to the Stone Age, Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble—especially the rubble part.

Indeed democracy is not an end in and of itself, but a mere means to an end. Get your money to high ground, the financial tsunami following the 2008 earthquake is coming, a wave of money printing unseen in modern finance history. Conflict Crony Capitalism is kaput. Bank runs, defaults, and liquidations are on their way. The American democracy experiment has failed because average citizens were not up to the task—they instead delegated their responsibilities to Congressional criminals who have said thank you, and have proceeded to loot the treasury. Why fascists like Leo Strauss and Carl Schmitt knew they would undermine democracy and take the nation to war. They simply lied and told the lemmings, “it is different this time.”

The public sphere is a concept explored in the writings of German social theorist Jürgen Habermas. Without going into a complex disquisition on its merits, which are considerable in the grounding of reason, Haberma’s work on the public sphere can be viewed as a dialogue with an unnamed opponent of reason in the public sphere—Carl Schmitt. Carl Schmitt was the mentor of Leo Strauss and even wrote a letter of recommendation for his appointment at the University of Chicago, that in this writer’s opinion has spawned the neoNazi movement of the neoconservatives. All interventions into the public sphere to prevent its return are not wasted efforts or false militancy. Let’s go through why the public sphere cannot be conceded to neofascism using excerpts from the Nuremberg Tribunal and other historical documents to make the case for aggressive use of the internet to prevent its reoccurrence.

The sine qua non of war crimes and requirement of international judicial review for them are summarized as follows by American Robert Jackson:

The aggressive war phase of the case against the Nazi conspirators is, in the view of the American prosecution, the heart of the case. Everything else in this case, however dramatic, however sordid, however shocking and revolting to the common instinct of civilized peoples, is incidental or subordinate to, the fact of aggressive war.—Nuremberg Tribunal, Nazi Conspiracy and Aggression Volume 1

That is, invading and occupying countries that posed no threat to international peace. That would include today most certainly Libya, and the murder and sodomy of Moammar Kadhafi for purposes of America’s policy of full spectrum dominance.

1) The Charter imposes "individual responsibility" for acts constituting "crimes against peace";

(2) The term "Crimes against peace" embraces planning, preparation, initiation, or waging of illegal war;

(3) The term "Crimes against peace" also embraces participation in a common plan or conspiracy to commit illegal war

This definition subsumed not only people like Hermann Goering, but also propagandists like Joseph Goebbels and members of news organizations like Hans Fritzsche. That means characters like Diane Sawyer and other members of America’s main stream media. The goyim will be left holding the bag because the executives of these news organization will most likely return to Israel. Many of them, after all, hold dual citizenships. The Nazis used the media because theorists or jurists like Carl Schmitt identified the soft underbelly of democracy which was to lie with impunity in the public sphere:

Of course, why the Reich was hated was pure Goebbels genius:

Ahhh yes, the doctrine of full spectrum dominance. The neoNazis have already effected the coup, and are now making their plans in the U.S. for the main event. For what is Iran except a country attempting to become a military power (China as well) to challenge our hegemony in the region. But when all is said and done, the unraveling of the New American Century and the neoconservatives boils down to this one incontrovertible fact:

Fiat €: It’s all over but the shouting

The old joke: you’ll know it’s hyperinflation when you’re pushing around a wheelbarrow of fiat currency and thieves rob you for the wheelbarrow and leave the cash.

ECB Governing Council member Yves Mersch said that monetizing government debts "is tantamount to inflation" and "not feasible." To use inflation to lower the fiscal burden "would reduce incentives for governments" to tackle their debt burdens and "would raise the risks of even higher future inflation and greater output volatility. Uncontrollable wage-price spirals would be likely." Mersch said in a speech in Frankfurt today. He also added that you can not make the ECB as a "lender of last resort for governments" and that governments must live up to own responsibilities.

Mersch needs to talk to “Helicopter” Ben Bernanke. The latter just doesn’t seem to get it. Probably all that East Coast education at diploma mills of the Ivy League. Infantilism that prevents Ben from growing up and admitting Santa Claus in the form of the federal government has run its course.

It’s over boys and girls.

Next stop for the currency speculators—the United States. There is only one solution to the debt problem, and it’s not more debt; it is to purge the debt and start over with a new monetary system. But the delusional ruling class will never do that, so now we can all get dizzy as the dirty water circles the bowl and goes down the toilet, with the tissue they call fiat currency.

After the economic flushing the recriminations can begin, and we can get down to the serious business of prosecuting the malefactors who destroyed the nation. From the banksters, to the political war criminals, to the mass media collaborators the heads must roll down that plank as in the French Revolution.

As Ludwig von Mises explained long ago, there is no preventing the final washout from a debt bubble, certainly not serial debt bubbles of the Federal Reserve. And come to think about it, Marx will probably be proved right as well. Workers to save themselves, as the peasants had to in the transition from feudalism to capitalism, will usher in socialism, for the seeds of socialism have already been planted in the guise of a military-industrial complex already sustained by 54 cents of every tax dollar.

Myself, I’d settle to see the malefactors swing from the gallows, as the war criminals did at Spandau, Germany. Perhaps even a few from the press. Or they could do the honorable thing and commit suicide as ol’ Joe Goebbels did, saving the allies the expense of the rope.

While we wait for the malefactors to do the right thing, I’ll brush up on my commie speak: comrade, umm comrade, perhaps “Big Brother,” and if Obama remains president, how about “emperor fuhrer.” Now should we use gang gestures or the Nazi salute?

A surprising new poll out of Bloomberg News on Tuesday morning found that former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-GA) is not the only Republican to benefit from the seeming demise of other prior frontrunners.

This is probative evidence to the fact NATO troops were present to Moammar Kadhafi’s capture but did not intercede to stop his execution in violation of the 3rd Geneva Convention that protects prisoners of war from inhumane treatment. Below is a picture of some NATO troops and their helmets. Reports of independent investigative reporter Wayne Madsen, according to his sources, Kadhafi was wounded attempting to surrender, and then subsequently murdered by a Libyan mob.

Third Geneva Convention, Article 13-16 regarding the treatment of prisoners of war.

Articles 13 to 16 state that prisoners of war must be treated humanely without any adverse discrimination and that their medical needs must be met.

Moammar Kadhafi was visibly wounded at the time of his capture. Seen in videos posted below on this blogsite. And with the visual recorded evidence of a NATO soldier at the scene of his capture, NATO is implicated in a war crime to which it has willfully failed to investigate. To say nothing of the fact, U.N. resolution 1973 did not empower NATO to kill the leader of Libya. Members of the U.N. must get to the bottom of this blatant violation of its charter, resolution, and importantly Article 13 of the Geneva Convention. Without consequences for violations of their rules, the U.N. is an irrelevant institution and disputes between nations can only be solved with direct bilateral talks between the disputants. This is precisely what Israel desires, that only Israel can grant Palestinians statehood through direct talks, not a U.N. General Assembly vote.

This to me is the significance of what has happened in Libya, and the fact the country has fallen into the hands of al-Qaeda, who are not enemies of the United States, but most likely on the payroll of the Central Intelligence Agency dispatched to Libya to foment the unrest that toppled Kadhafi’s government. The law of the jungle where the strong takes out the weak. There will now be several years of nations arming themselves until the world is awash in weapons, where a spark ignites the conflagration that will make World War II look like a garden party.

The International Criminal Courts led by Moreno Ocampo might wish to issue an arrest warrant for Anders Fogh Rasmussen that led the Libya NATO operation, which was in truth a planned, orchestrated, and executed act of aggression against a country that posed no threat to international peace. The fact that members of NATO’s force stood idly by while Kadhafi was murdered and sodomized is an act of barbarity, rising to the level of a war crime. It shows without doubt that the U.N. mission had nothing to do with humanitarian motives, and everything to do with the fact the U.N. has become the useful idiots of the United States to further its strategic aims which invalidates the body as a honest arbiter of international conflicts and disputes. It will be relegated to the dust bin of history like the League of Nations.

With Diane Sawyer the Marie Antoinette of Main Stream Media, providing the CIA/State Department “Big Lie.” Just prior to the U.S. bombing of Libya, the U.N. was poised to award Colonel Kadhafi for his progress in the area of human rights and people’s councils of the Jamahiriya, and Kadhafi consistently maintained the so called rebels, backed by the United States, were in reality al Qaeda. Well now we know he was correct, the rebels are indeed al Qaeda who had fought for the Libya Islamic Fighting Group in Iraq. But were these so called jihadists any more than hired thugs for the Central Intelligence Agency to foster instability and crisis in the region? And were they just dispatched to Libya to ply their handiwork there? Has al Qaeda been a CIA asset all along?

My own opinion is that both NATO and the Western Press should make an appearance before the International Criminal Courts for the straightforward crime of planning, promoting, and executing international aggression in violation of the U.N. charter and the Nuremberg Tribunal to which the U.S. is a signatory. If nothing else the war criminals would not be able to travel freely without looking over their shoulder.

Vyacheslav Danilenko identified in the IAEA Iran report as a nuclear weapons fission expert, turns out to be a long time specialist in the area of nanodiamonds produced using explosives. As reported on this blog, the Iranians are more likely to be experimenting with uranium deuteride, perhaps based upon Chinese research but not definitively known. This is more drivel fed to discredited U.N. agencies via Israel by the United States. The whole purpose of the tired ploy of feeding falsehoods subsequently reported by a U.N. agency and then cited by the main stream press here in the U.S.

Then U.S. officials, like AIPAC lapdog Hillary Clinton or presidential candidate Mitt Romney, will cite the main stream stories as substantiated proof. It doesn’t matter whether the assertions are true. What matters is the American public hears the initial claims, that plant the seeds of suspicion against Iran.

My fellow Americans: don’t fall for it. Iran, at least for this writer and others, is already armed. This is like the Sioux or Cheyenne who come riding over a rise, and then turn tail with the 7th Cavalry in hot pursuit, only to crest the rise to discover the Sioux and Cheyenne nation waiting for them. More surprising still was that Sitting Bull and some of his warriors (by some estimates a quarter of them) came out shooting with Winchester and Henry repeating rifles which were state of the art weaponry at the time. Did they manufacture such rifles? No. They stole them. Who would have guessed? Certainly, not Custer.

Similarly, is what happened in Korea when Gen. Douglas MacArthur crossed the Yalu River and was met by hundreds of thousands of Chinese troops. And it is precisely what current Pentagon chief Leon Panetta counsels, there could be “unintended consequences” from an attack upon Iran because our intelligence agencies have already been shown to be woefully wrong on the collapse of the Soviet Union, weapons of mass destruction, and the cake walk that was supposed to be Afghanistan.

In other words, this is not like attacking Grenada and Panama. There are real imponderables with high stakes consequences, like thousands of missile being launched at Israel from Hamas, Hezbollah, Syria and Iran, as well as the target rich presence of Americans in the region.

This time a preemptive attack might even invite a nuclear response. One Israeli, there are no doubt others, level headed enough to consider consequences appears to be Meir Dagan, my own personal choice for Times’ Man of the Year or to be politically correct, Person of the Year. Dagan early this year was dismissed from his post as head of the Mossad, along with Shin Bet’s Yuval Diskin, and Israel Defense Force chief Gabi Ashkenazi. Do you think Dagan might know something? He has been actively derailing Benjamin Netanyahu’s calls for an attack upon Iran precisely because he knows the catastrophe that awaits all parties in such aggression.

Dagan emphasized the point that Israel will not be able to withstand the Iranian counter-offensive, if Barak and Netanyahu manage to actualize their plan. More than anything, he questioned the judgment of the current Israeli leadership.—Yossi Gurvitz, June 4, 2011

Iran poll: the Israeli-neocon matrix is falling apart; Americans weary of war

55 percent of Americans support a diplomatic approach when it comes to dealing with Iran and support containment as opposed to military action. The poll was conducted by CBS News. Only 15% say Iran is a threat that requires military action now, and another 17% do not consider Iran a threat at all.

Mitt Romney the probable Republican candidate for President, the Emanuel Goldstein of his party, who believes war is peace is trapped within the old matrix that Americans have now rejected. However, because Barack Obama is also a toady to the Israel lobby, American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the Democrats will not be able to capitalize on the more than two thirds majority of Americans (55%+17%) who have wearied of Republican war mongering. Connect the dots –> endless wars –> economic decline = victory in 2012.

Romney is another Barry Goldwater willing to risk nuclear war with China and Russia over Iran’s nuclear program which the latter is entitled to by virtue of their participation in the nuclear nonproliferation treaty (NPT). Plus they have no missile that can reach U.S. shores. By contrast, the neoconservatives and AIPAC that are pushing for war against Iran have ignored the high probability of a direct confrontation with the other nuclear super powers, and their regional interests in the Caspian basin.

And it is estimated by most nuclear experts that Israel possesses perhaps as many as 400 nuclear weapons from their reactor at Dimona, yet refuses IAEA oversight and to join the NPT. However, with perhaps as many as 400 weapons, Israel’s second strike capacity cannot be impaired by the few nuclear weapons, perhaps six (that we can confirm), purchased from the Ukraine by Iran. It is not Israel which is at risk, but clearly Iran.

No one should be surprised. This was exactly the same type of rhetoric spewed by Americans when they were stealing Native American lands, as Jews are stealing Palestinian lands today. Those you are stealing lands from, and who resist such actions end up being “savages, redskins” and now “butchering Palestinians.” That is what happened after 1622 when the Powhattan tribe attacked English settlers, after years of encroachment on their lands. You can even go back to the Baltic Crusades of the Teutonic Knights and find similar sentiments about the Slavic tribes of East Prussia whose lands were being taken by the Germans. What Rachel Abrams wants is genocide. Who knows maybe the Jews will actually succeed, since they are being aided and abetted by American politicians. For a campaign contribution they’ll support just about any moral depravity. Now Abrams wishes to be George Custer, and no doubt supports the genocide of the Iranians to complement her hatred of the Palestinians, as Custer sought the eradication of the Sioux, but again, I think what the Israelis are going to get will be more like the Little Bighorn. And I do not believe that Vladimir Putin and Hu Jintao of China are going to allow it, anymore than the latter allowed Douglas MacArthus to cross the 38th parallel. So to the Benjamin Netanyahus and Rachel Abrams of the world, “I dare you, I double dare you, to attack Iran.”

Well, that just about sums up the childishness of the neocons. The other reason to ignore their entreaties is that they do not know anything. They go around setting up pseudo institutions like the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs, American Enterprise Institute, and National Endowment for Democracy and then provide pseudo credentials like institute fellowships as if the propaganda produced by these institutes can pass an academic smell test. What they thinly disguise is nothing more than their hatred for other peoples who happen to stand in their way—like Rachel Corrie, an American run over by a tractor in Gaza protesting their genocide. Or academics like Michigan’s Juan Cole whose appointment at Yale University they sabotaged.

If Israel was such a force for good, then Leon Panetta would not have rushed to Israel to counsel them not to do anything without our green light, like a preemptive attack upon Iran. My advice, listen to one of their own—Meir Dagan the former head of the Mossad. He’s blunt, and on target. Benjamin Netanyahu and Ehud Barak lack good judgment, because they do not consider the consequences of their actions, the sine qua non of political responsibility. Banksters drop democracy façade; tap one of their own to run Greece

In the cradle of democracy, Greece, the Merkozy banking syndicate gets one of their capos to lead the implementation of bailout austerity program for the banksters in France and Germany. So confident of their power, the banksters have dropped their usual sock puppets, and have simply assumed power like Hank Paulson in the United States when Congress essentially capitulated to the banksters. The same has now occurred in Greece and Italy. The new autocrat of Greece will be Lucas Papademos, and in Italy Mario Monti. Both held positions in Brussels previously.

Papademos, a former vice president of the European Central Bank, has already indicated there will be more austerity measures. Some of his academic writings contended that the euro made Greece’s economy more stable, a position completely falsified by actual events in Greece. He is quoted as asserting, “The macroeconomic and microeconomic benefits for Europe and Greece from the introduction of the euro are enormous." Indeed, if the productivity and development of Northern and Southern Europe were even remotely similar, but they weren’t then and they are not now. Because they are not, Greece cannot now devalue the euro to spur growth through exports nor drop interest rates that are now controlled by the ECB. And without growth, and austerity weighing like an anchor upon the economy, there is absolutely no chance of Greece repaying the euros that it owes, because obviously, tax revenues are not going to be growing but actually falling for some time.

Monti will also be overseeing a deteriorating economy with debt at 120 percent of GDP. Just yesterday interest rates on their bonds surged to 7 percent, making the difference between Italy’s interest rates and German bonds the widest yet. Another indication of extreme stress in their financial system. But again, like Greece, Italy needs to grow though they may be helped by the new head of the ECB Mario Draghi who figures to drop interest rates for the Eurozone. Yes, Mario just happens to be Italian, and where Angela Merkel and Nicolas Sarkozy believe the real threat to the Eurozone will come from with its 1.4 trillion euro debt.

Barclays Capital contends Italy problems have passed the point of no return, and there is a mathematical certainty it will default. However, with an interim government as in Greece, the Merkozy dictatorship has moved rapidly to install their autocrats in the problem countries and will no doubt put off elections as long as possible. Meanwhile, protests in the streets when both countries must administer even deeper austerity will bring both countries to a boil. Debt slavery is assured in both. The Merkozy dictatorship is playing a very dangerous game. For the austerity measures to be successful there must be popular support, and it is sorely missing in both countries. This writer is confident both Greeks and Italians will eventually choose freedom rather than slavery. 21st century debt slavery is simply not worth staying in the euro to rescue the banksters, and national pride and self respect will reassert itself against the Merkozy dictatorship. The nonsense that Italians and Greeks think of themselves as Europeans as opposed to the former is not sustainable.

By contrast Iceland repudiated its debts, lifting the yoke from its neck, allowing the banksters to pound sand. No they could not avoid completely austerity, but because they had their own currency they devalued the krona and spurred growth, and have been able to grow their way out of the mess. Since the last quarter of 2009, Iceland’s economy steadily improved, and is showing positive GDP growth.

They have even returned to the international capital markets. They are on the mend because they allowed the banksters to pay the price for reckless lending and borrowing. The price of any capitalist failure, the verdict of the market and extinction. Banks have been failing since the inception of capitalism. It is not the end of the world. You shut down insolvent banks, you break them up while protecting depositors, and you sell them off to stronger hands. What was different this time is that the banksters bought political patronage to prevent their failure, and to instead attempt to enslave the populace to pay for their crimes. Debts simply being shifted from the private to the public sector, and hence producing a sovereign debt crisis.

The best way to get out of the fix the Greeks are in would be to inflate the euro, and to repay the debts in a cheapened currency, as the United States is currently pursuing. However, the Greeks cannot do that as long as they remain in the euro. They do not control their monetary policy. The question for this writer is how long and hard can you squeeze surplus out of the Greek people till they are pushed to revolution. And importantly because the new austerity must come out of somebody’s hide, the military behind the scenes will likely conspire with the people to overthrow bankster rule. As the communist leader in Greece intimated, he gives the new regime two years. Greece is likely to lurch radically left or right, but it is unlikely to stabilize.

More likely is technocrat dictatorship guided from Brussels by the Merkozy Siamese twin. Yet one must wonder if either of these bankster stooges will survive elections in their respective countries. But we can anticipate endless foot dragging in the case of new Greek elections. For the banksters, it is always extend and pretend. And democracy is the greatest threat to their rule and will be avoided as long as possible. The same will occur in the U.S., where it appears the ruling elite have opted to preserve empire and will have to scrap democracy.

The increasingly fascist crackdown on Occupy Wall Street has taken the predictably ugly turn. When the streets reach a boil, the elite will do as they have always done, they will take the American people to war and siphon off discontent, they believe, by reinstituting the draft. It is in truth only total war that will provide the prospect of assured profits that will spur capitalist investment and end the slump.

The real threat to them as a class is if the peasants refuse to fight, and there is mutiny as there was in Kiel Germany in November 1918. But never underestimate the evil of our ruling class. They are already working on drone and robotic warfare to bypass the man and woman problem. One should recall that under feudalism proper, the lords waged war separately from the peasants, the direct producers of society, and why Congress has been made irrelevant to its implementation.

As there was Ingsoc in Orwell’s dystopia, there will be Amsoc in Amerika. Because under conflict capitalism (actually socialism in a society where words carry the very opposite meaning) the destruction and rebuilding of infrastructure is the only way of providing profitable investment opportunities for a war caste in which surplus is squeezed out extraeconomically. But if we attack Iran to sustain our mode of destruction/production, we will chew off more than we bargained for. A nuclear winter is much different than simply destroying infrastructure and having favored domestic construction firms rebuild them.

But never underestimate the depravity of a ruling class, as J.K. Galbraith remarked, "People of privilege will always risk their complete destruction rather than surrender any material part of their advantage." Indeed. Power trumps wealth in the equation of class warfare.

Iran is perfectly within their right to protect themselves from war criminals

The United States and their proxy state Israel are war criminals, invading countries in violation of the U.N. charter, and the Nuremberg Tribunal against aggression—stealing lands and resources. They did it in Lebanon, Gaza, Iraq, and Libya with no adverse consequences from the U.N. My stance on Iran getting nuclear arms is obvious. The Iranians would have to be crazy not to when the international body entrusted to prevent aggression actually engages in abetting it. The latest being the IAEA report to be forever known as “The maybe, could be, might be” report to justify an attack upon Iran. The U.N. has become nothing more than the useful idiots for U.S. aggression of conflict capitalism.

Suppose you had neighbors who came out every day and yelled from their front lawns that they were going to attack you, and you knew the cops were in the back pockets of your neighbors. Quite simply you would have to be an idiot not to purchase a deterrent like a .357 Magnum to prevent it. And that is precisely what the Iranians have done. In the early part of this century, the Iranians went to the Ukrainians and purchased some nuclear weapons to defend themselves from international war criminals.

The Iranians have not ventured outside the confines of their borders in some 200 years, while Israel and the United States have made it a habit to rape the weak throughout the 20th and 21st century. Frankly, Ahmadinejad and Khamenei don’t have to make excuses and apologies for anything. After Libya, the U.N. has zero credibility. It’s done and you can stick a fork in it now. Libya was the equivalent of Wounded Knee when the Sioux turned in their weapons and were subsequently massacred. This time Kadhafi abandoned his nuclear program and was massacred along with the tribes that supported him. There is a pattern here. The same ruse is being applied within the United States with gun control laws, to strip the populace of the means to resist the tyranny of government, taken over by AIPAC.

When the Israeli and American robbers come through your teepee saying they’re humanitarians, you’re perfectly within your right to shoot the bastards. And I would say the same thing to kids at Occupy Wall Street, if you want to stop the rape of the banksters arm yourselves and have regime change. The banksters will risk total destruction rather than concede a farthing of their advantage, which means they’ll use repression to remain in power. Name me one revolution which succeeded without conflict and violence. American, French, 1848 Europe, Russian, Chinese, Cuban, Vietnamese, Nicaragua, Iranian? Name me one? Democratic protests at best will lead to minor alterations at the margins of bankster capitalism. It will not lead to a fundamental change in the relationship between direct exploiters and the direct producers of society. It is a means of releasing some steam from the pressure cooker to preserve the status quo of masters and slaves. It is the ultimate extend and pretend.

They don’t care about your pithy slogans. Because they have never cared one wit about democracy. It is a tool employed for the enslavement of what else—workers who live the imaginary to the real conditions of their existence. Or as George Carlin so famously said, “They don’t give a fuck about you.”

The TED spread is the difference in interest rates between banks, what they are charging for money between themselves, and the most liquid of U.S. Treasury bills, 3-month T-bills. As this difference increases it indicates distress in the banking and financial system. As in 2008, the TED spread is again increasing dangerously.

Today, the markets are experiencing a mini-crash, the Dow being down 250 points at the open. An indication that the Eurozone debt crisis, far from being over, is increasing in intensity as speculators now focus upon Italy. However, the reality is that even the solvent countries of the Eurozone are heavily in debt, and corporate debt throughout Europe is at all time highs. You cannot solve a debt problem with more debt as the Merkozy dictatorship is attempting or the Emperor Obama is doing with the too-big-to-fail banks. More debt only points to a larger implosion of the fraudulent financial system. And what should you expect from criminals—except more of the same?

Demerol like morphine is an opiate used to suppress pain. As the website Drugs.com notes:

Might not Demerol, used in conjunction with Propofol, be masked by the latter? Oh yeah, the judge in the Mikaeel case ruled,

that (Arnold) Klein’s treatment of Jackson right before he died couldn’t be introduced in the trial.

And what was that? Just that Klein was shooting up Jackson with demerol. Justice for the king of pop? Did ol’ Arnie have a motive per chance? Well dermatologist Klein had to sue the Jackson estate in October 2009 for $48,000 in unpaid medical bills. The bills were from March through June, 2009 just prior to Jackson’s death. Reasonable doubt? Murray might just very well be the patsy in this unresolved case. And to top it off, the supplier for the Propofol, Teva Pharmaceuticals had some very interesting characters on their board of directors. Like the following fellow:

Click on the document and you discover that Meir Amit, the former head of the Mossad from 1963 to 1968, sat on Teva’s board. This is the same guy who said, “we are like the official hangman or the doctor on Death Row who administers the lethal injection. Our actions are all endorsed by the State of Israel. When Mossad kills it is not breaking the law. It is fulfilling a sentence sanctioned by the prime minister of the day." In this case, that would have been Benjamin Netanyahu. And what might they have been worried about? Perhaps something like this:

With a better defense team there might have been an opportunity to actually create reasonable doubt about what was going on in this case. But alas the cheering mobs have their pound of flesh in the patsy Conrad Murray, but there remains many imponderables to this verdict. Sort of like sweeping the whole affair under the rug. And where is that dang Bill Bratton when you want him? Oh, you say he skipped out of town and returned to the ‘Big Apple to take a job at the security firm Altegrity?’ You mean being a consultant for a security firm is a better job than being the Chief of Police for the city of Los Angeles? In my own humble opinion a step down in the career of any law enforcement professional.

Of course, after Bratton skipped town I just guess it slipped every one’s mind to inquire as to why the Holmby Hills Estate crime scene was not secured after Jackson’s death or just who was on the premises at the time? Per chance might someone have slipped away in the immediate confusion, like the doorman in the John Lennon killing in the ‘80s who vanished without a trace?

Curiouser and curiouser cried Alice. The king of pop did not live in Neverland, but indeed in Wonderland surrounded by all manner of curious characters who needed to be sorted out. As for Murray, “Off with his head.” That is always the solution for the Queen of Hearts and American popular culture.

Any war with Iran will be a nuclear exchange after we or Israel attacks

In 2006 the Kiev Ukraine News reported that 250 nuclear warheads that were to be returned to Russia went missing. The warheads amounted to a yield of about 20 megatons. Now previously, the Ukraine sold nuclear capable cruise missiles to both Iran and China. Most likely to be studied and reverse engineered by the Chinese. The Chinese do not require weapons grade uranium for their armaments. By the 1990s they had already produced anywhere between 2 to 5 tons of plutonium. Therefore, it is most likely the missing warheads have found their way to Iran who have been perfecting a trigger for nuclear fission to rest atop the 6-12 X-55 cruise missiles they’ve purchased. That would make them already nuclear capable, and not a country you could simply attack recklessly. Thank God, Barack Obama has thus far told the neocons and Netanyahu pressing for a preemptive attack upon Iran to stick it where the sun doesn’t shine.

The yields on Iran’s externally acquired nuclear warheads is not definitively known. But it is probably based on the X-55 cruise missile obtained by Iran from the Ukraine in the early part of this century. It was part of a large cache of missiles and warheads not accounted for after the fall of the Soviet Union. Iran has also probably made the yield commensurate with the distance to Israel which is around 1500 kilometers (km). The maximum range of the missile is around 3000 km, but with a larger warhead will travel a shorter distance. The best guesstimate is the missile is likely to be outfitted with a 200-300 kiloton warhead.

At the same time, a handful of such missiles were also sold to the Chinese, that could easily reverse engineer it and then share the triggers for the warhead with the Iranians based on China’s work with uranium deuteride. But Iran will now pursue weapons technology post Libya, because of the latter’s significance regarding the naked aggression by NATO and the U.S., and the impotence of the U.N. to not only not stop it, but to actually foster Kadhafi’s removal and murder. It is all over for that body. All the major nuclear powers are rearming as I write. As Britain’s Guardian reported on October 30, 2011:

The world's nuclear powers are planning to spend hundreds of billions of pounds modernising and upgrading weapons warheads and delivery systems over the next decade, according to an authoritative report published on Monday.

Despite government budget pressures and international rhetoric about disarmament, evidence points to a new and dangerous "era of nuclear weapons", the report for the British American Security Information Council (Basic) warns. It says the US will spend $700bn (£434bn) on the nuclear weapons industry over the next decade, while Russia will spend at least $70bn on delivery systems alone.

In bygone days, we called that an armaments race. And well, all the nuclear powers should be arming after the woeful performance of the U.N., and resolution 1973. Iran will be perfectly within its right to respond with any weapon it possesses if attacked by Israel preemptively. I should add, that any preemptive attack on the part of Israel initiating World War III will prove the Nazi’s to have been correct in their assessment of the Jews. And of course, any such attack will also make the U.S. a target in Iraq and Pakistan.

The only thing that has prevented a blitzkrieg mechanized attack into Waziristan by the U.S. has been the movement of Chinese troops into Kashmir. Duly noted by the Indians. Israel and the U.S.’s attempt to use the former Soviet state of Georgia as a land based aircraft carrier to launch an attack upon Iran was thwarted by the Russians in 2008. The Russkies are very aware of such preemptive strategies, and have warned their military to prepare for Armageddon. Gog and Magog are not dumb. Vladimir Putin is coming out of mothballs to lead Russia during World War III. Indeed, what macho man would want to miss it?

The dozen or so reported nuclear weapons Iran already possesses will most likely be used, however, against Israel taking it effectively off the map. If Israel is sufficiently as irrational as this writer thinks, it no doubt has a doomsday plan where its surviving weapons would be directed at Europe and Russia. Their Jericho IIb and Jericho III can reach all areas of the planet. But what would you expect from such a self absorbed people? Martin van Creveld an Israeli military historian launched this missive at Europe:

“We possess several hundred atomic warheads and rockets and can launch them at targets in all directions, perhaps even at Rome. Most European capitals are targets for our air force…. We have the capability to take the world down with us. And I can assure you that that will happen before Israel goes under.”

This is all part of their deterrence strategy, which I would characterize as the Chico Marx routine, where Chico of the Marx brothers has to be held back by Groucho and Harpo while he yells, “let me at the palooka,” whoever his tormentor might be. Great comedy, but poor strategic policy. Because the remedy is to call Chico’s bluff and pull out your weapons. The solution after all for any rabid dog or individual is to kill them.

Now, Israel’s “special relationship” with the U.S. in any such doomsday scenario on the part of Netanyahu will also trigger a massive retaliation against the United States. Yes, Americans have no one to blame but themselves for their predicament and the prospects for an all out nuclear exchange with both Russia and China. The former heads of the Mossad and Shinbet have both attempted to sabotage Netanyahu’s plans for a preemptive strike. The guy is the Stockholm Syndrome poster boy for Adolph Hitler, endlessly making threats. The latter would have been great in Chaplin’s role as the Great Dictator.

In any event, Israel’s first strike to be successful must accurately target those dozen weapons. However, the X-55 cruise missile can be modified to be launched by truck, making it highly mobile, by ship or dropped from an aircraft. They are notoriously difficult to detect at launch and to track because they fly low to the ground weaving in and out of mountain valleys. The 55 bunker busting bombs transferred to Israel from the United States will prove to be inadequate for several reasons.

Any ship within Iran’s merchant marine might be modified to launch cruise missiles from up to a distance of 3000 km, and you would have to be able to track and determine the position of every flatbed truck in Iran. Highly dubious. It is consequently unlikely Israel’s first strike will prevent Iran’s second strike. But this is just the tip of the strategic iceberg awaiting Israel’s first strike that will have to be an overwhelming nuclear attack to even have a remote chance of success.

Israel possesses, it is believed, some 200 nuclear warheads. Maybe as many as 400. A good portion of the weapons will have to be employed to prevent Iran’s second strike. They would produce a nuclear holocaust wiping out most of Iran’s population. But in March of 2005, the news wasn’t that Iran had externally obtained a few nuclear weapons, but that Ukrainian Defense Minister Yevhen Marchuk finally had to disclose the awful truth,

that several hundred of his country's missiles were ‘unaccounted’ for. The weapons, including 575 X-55 and X-55M were supposed to have been decommissioned in the years that followed the break-up of the USSR. On 22 March 2005, Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Svyatoslav Piskun, reluctantly confessed in an interview with the Financial Times that Kiev had sold 18 strategic X-55 air-to-surface cruise missiles to Beijing and Tehran in 2001 . . . The X-55 (also termed Kh-55 Granat or AS-15 Kent) has a range of approximately 3,000 km and is capable of carrying 200 kiloton nuclear warheads—David Eschel, Defense Update, March 2005

David Eschel is a former Lt. Col. in the Israeli Defense Force. So this would be information thoroughly known by all parties, especially Netanyahu and Meir Dagan, the former Mossad chief. That would leave perhaps hundreds of weapons in the hands of the Iranians. So much for Zbig’s strategy of undermining the Soviet Union, thinking it would improve our national security. The Iranians have been working of course on enrichment, but perhaps more urgently on the triggers for the weapons they most likely already possess. In May of this year, the New York Times reported that the IAEA, the nuclear watchdog agency of the U.N., had discovered

evidence that Tehran has conducted work on a highly sophisticated nuclear triggering technology that experts said could be used for only one purpose: setting off a nuclear weapon.—David Sanger and William Broad, New York Times, May 24, 2011

The triggering technology being uranium deuteride, an indication perhaps the Chinese are readying for the possibility of total war as well and supplying Iran with much needed technical advice. We can only hope when the Iranians get on the phone to Beijing and seek technical support, they reach someone like Verizon’s “Peggy.” But barring such luck, the world is facing down not an attack on nuclear facilities but nuclear war. What the reporters do not reveal though is that such triggers could be for the externally acquired weapons already in Iran’s possession, not for weapons grade uranium far off in the future. Nor does the Times take note that there are hundreds of cruise missiles missing from Ukraine’s stocks to say nothing of nuclear warheads also missing. The Times obviously wishes to stir up fear of Iran, but not so much that the American public would turn away in horror at the prospects. So New York Times reporters have become adept at offering half truths, for the obvious benefit of Israel.

So what is Israel’s game here. Most likely if it can goad the United States to launch the attack, U.S. targets would bear the brunt of the Iranian retaliation. That is, just as the United States had once sought to limit nuclear war to a European theater by installing missiles around the Soviet Union, and now Russia. Israel through their proxies in Congress have surrounded Iran with U.S. military bases reproducing that strategy. Confine the conflagration to someone else’s territory or region and hope for the best, like taking a powder when it becomes imminent. Odigo messaging service are you listening. Unfortunately, I suspect Iran has enough weapons to treat Heckle and Jeckle equally.

However it plays out for the U.S., Israel and Iran will be eliminated from the geopolitical chess board. But if the doomsday scenario plays out, and Israel launches its remaining arsenal to attack Russia or Europe there will be a chain reaction that will leave the U.S. devastated, but perhaps operational. A neoconservative and Wohlstetter’s wet dream—the cost benefit analysis leaving the United States to rule supreme over the world’s ashes. That is, once the country digs out and rebuilds. But that may be the rationale for the current madness, not the creative destruction of Schumpeter, but simply destructive capitalism that provides the preconditions for the investment of capital in infrastructure. You perpetually destroy it and then rebuild it. War is not politics by other means but economics by continuous destruction of infrastructure.

My advice for the Occupy Wall Street people who are worried about their futures: chill out. There may not be a future but rather a return to the dark ages, literally, after a nuclear winter. But camping out in tents is a start for a survivalist. And if you can embrace this reality you can actually begin to live an authentic existence. What you’re worried about simply isn’t that important “The Day After.” What we’re all waiting to find out, however, is whether Hitler was right.

Solons give Papandreou vote of confidence; what now of the streets?

George Papandreou will attempt to cobble together a coalition government after winning Greece’s confidence vote 153-145. And true to form, Papandreou submitted to the directives of the new Merkozy dictatorship and will not allow a referendum on the bailout, nor new elections. As Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos intimated in his speech new elections cannot be allowed because the policies of the new government might breach the heretofore agreed to bailout packaged in Brussels.

The Greeks will take their austerity medicine and their economy will be bed ridden for the next 20 years, or until there is a revolution in the streets or a military coup. The latter, Papandreou hopes he has defused by dismissing his entire military brass.

The news was that PASOK Party members, Pan Hellenic Socialists, did not abandon Papandreou. They indeed do take their marching orders from the Merkozy dictatorship. Goose stepping their way to what they hope to be a coalition government. National sovereignty and democracy in Greece are now the wards of the bankers behind the Merkozy dictatorship. The last vestige of Greek democracy is if the New Democracy party refuses to join the coalition and forces new elections, which will turn into a referendum on Papandreou’s brokered deal with the Merkozy dictatorship. Political chaos figures to remain with or without the quisling Papandreou. The best part, for this writer, was when Papandreou pleaded that all he wished to do was save Greece. It was something right out of the Barack Obama playbook here in the U.S. That is, stabbing your countrymen and women in the backs for the benefit of the banksters.

The oxymoron is that the PASOK Party calls themselves socialists when they could have brought down the capitalist edifice around the ears of Angela Merkel and Nicolas Sarkozy. But perhaps the PASOK Party does not consider Europe so much capitalist as they do feudal in nature. The old saying of the demesne being, the Greeks are like watermelon seeds: the more you squeeze them, the more that will come out.

Anyway, no member from the socialist contingent stepped forward to say, “I am Spartacus.” So all hail the Caesar Merkozy, Siamese twins joined at the hip from birth by the threads of fiat currency. But for all the Greek drama, the fact still remains the Euro is not the solution but the source of the problem being cynically employed by the Germans to increase their export competitiveness, since the currency is undervalued relative to the productivity of their manufacturing and overvalued for the southern Club Mediterranean countries. And to be truthful, countries like Greece are in hock up to their eyeballs having to finance buying Mercedes and the likes from the Germans.

The solution in the old days being: dropping the value of the drachma and increasing the price of those Mercedes thereby slowing their import, while increasing the exports of your own products or resources because of the price competitiveness in drachmas. But with a common currency that is no longer available to the Greeks to work their way out of debt. The United States is doing that right now, devaluing the dollar making their exports more competitive to dig themselves out of their debt hole.

The European Union’s answer is to lower wages in Greece to correct the trade balance flows, through austerity measures that raise unemployment and place downward pressures upon wages and salaries, thereby heightening class warfare within the country. The EU will be very fortunate if they do not spark a workers revolution all across the Southern Mediterranean countries. Papandreou is a socialist in name only, and is Athens’ modern day Trojan Horse opening up the country to the looting of the banksters, who convert the credit they conjured out of thin air into actual tangible assets. As in the U.S., it is the something for nothing scam.

Greece now joins Libya as examples of the new model of colonialism, whereby the high productivity countries of the North stifle production in the South through the use of an overvalued currency, allowing their exports to undermine local production. In less than a generation, here in the U.S. for example, that trained workforce is gone and has not passed on those production skills to the next generation, thereby rendering the country increasingly dependent on the Chinese. This was the same scam practiced on Native Americans. Whereby manufactured goods from England and the Colonies were substituted for the indigenous handicrafts of the natives and over time the tribes became dependent, having lost their traditional skills. And finally when they could no longer pay for the manufactured goods with furs, Native Americans were forced to cough up their lands because of debts.

Unless the Greeks put an end to this neocolonialism, their country will be hollowed out in two generations time. This is precisely the difference between 18th century India and 19th century Japan that were very similar in their handicraft development or cottage industry. Indian textiles stagnated because of English industrial penetration, while Japan advanced because it alone among Third World countries, at the time, closed its country to Western manufacturing allowing local development of its industries. This is precisely why Papandreou was no doubt selected by the banksters behind the scenes, to sell out the working class.

That is, Greece is a victim of class warfare by stealth, something not one in a hundred thousand persons will understand that the Euro is the means of colonization. By bullet in Libya, and by ballot in Greece.

The € is way over valued for Greece’s economy; Greece must leave the €

Under the recovery program, Iceland’s recession has been shallower than expected, and no worse than in less hard-hit countries. At the same time, the krona has stabilized at a competitive level, inflation has come down from 18 to under 5 percent, and CDS spreads have dropped from around 1000 to about 300 basis points. Current account deficits have unwound, and international reserves have been built up, while private sector bankruptcies have led to a marked decline in external debt, to around 300 percent of GDP.—International Monetary Fund Report

As long as Greece is in the Euro, it has no chance of growing its way out of its predicament. And if they cannot grow their way out through exporting more they cannot ever hope of repaying its debt. It will have become for all intents and purposes a debt slave to Germany and France. Angela Merkel and Nicolas Sarkozy are simply shills for the banks that should pay the piper for their bad business practices. The referendum on the bailout and Euro should go to a vote, Sarkozy certainly liked the idea of democracy in Libya, so why not Greece? That is because Greece is the exact parallel 0f AIG in the United States, the bailout money to Greece will never see the light of day in Athens, but will immediately go to French and German banks.

The Greek people need to reject such nonsense. Repudiate the debts like Iceland, reorganize and capitalize your banks and start over with the drachma. That is far preferable to a generation of austerity to save the one world pretensions of the Eurozone. The reason for doing so is perfectly clear. The world financial system needs to come down because it is morally wrong. It is corrupt. You stand at the vanguard of a worldwide revolution that will quickly move to the United States that basically used you to sabotage the Euro as a competitor to the dollar as the world’s reserve currency. Not withstanding the shenanigans of Goldman Sachs a single monetary policy for the diverse states of Europe was unworkable without federal revenue sharing as in the U.S.

Do Not Relent!

Both Sarkozy and Merkel’s political careers hang by a thread; hang them with it. The banksters must walk the plank for their criminality and the best way of doing that is bankrupting them and crippling their patronage of corrupt politicians. First the banksters, and then the Papandreous, Sarkozys, Merkels, and last but not least Barack Obama.

Break out the guillotine, form the firing squads, and build the gallows. Bring down the system and rebuild one that is responsive to the people and their real needs, and allow the people to determine what those needs might be. There is light at the end of the tunnel and it is you, the Greeks, who can bring it about—and then the Italians—the Spaniards—and finally Americans, both North and South. Yes, a New World Order brought into existence by the people and not the bankers, the Lloyd Blankfeins, Ben Bernankes, and Rothschilds. This has always been Greece’s destiny, the gift of democracy—real democracy. Direct from the streets.

Well the airheads who are the European leaders of today are making the same mistake again imposing harsh austerity measures upon the PIIGS (Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece and Spain) as they were in saddling Germany with reparations after World War I. Because frankly I seriously doubt the military will allow, nor will the public forget this bit of extortion by Krauts and Froggies of the Greek people. We should never forget that Greece was a military dictatorship between 1967 and 1974. And it is the military that stands to lose the most from austerity measures. Imagine what the Pentagon might do if they had to cut their budget by half, or indeed the officer corps who had visions of a career. Nah. It ain’t going to happen.

Just as John Maynard Keynes warned about the fallout from the Versailles Treaty placing all the blame for World War I upon the Germans, the financial debacle in Greece took two to tango. German and French banks abandoned all standards of lending, like basic consideration of ability to repay said loans, that you must question what precisely they were up to. The obvious answer is that Protestants and their Jewish banksters intended to loot Catholics and Greek Orthodox down South. But what they’re going to get, because Papandreou is such a gutless wonder, is a sharp right turn . . . and I mean a far right turn politically. National Socialism is going to look really good compared to the treason of socialists like Papandreou. The only statistic you have to know is that 80 percent of polled Greeks opposed the bankster bailout. Another replay of the Paulson TARP bailout. The legitimacy and therefore the authority of the government will not survive this.

So in the spirit of Keynes:

Dont do it. Because you’ll be sorry.

Heck maybe the Abraham Lincoln Brigade will be back in vogue again in Spain, another country on the verge of revolution.

Israel plots attack on Iran

First, after removing Libya’s Moammar Kadhafi under the ruse of a humanitarian mission, sponsored by the U.N. and executed by NATO and the U.S., I think it highly unlikely that you are now ever going to deter Iran from the development of nuclear weapons. The U.S. foolishly removed Kadhafi in an act of aggression (and greed), throwing in violations of the 3rd Geneva Convention to boot, thereby providing the Mullahs in Iran with all the justification they need for a weapons program. NATO attacks a nonnuclear Libya while a nuclear armed menace like North Korea is given a pass.

Now, Benjamin Netanyahu wants to attack Iran preemptively—this is simply Israeli speak for first strike aggression. If I am right, that Iran has purchased both the missiles and warheads to respond, now seconded by Global Information Systems that does intelligence analysis for the oil industry, Israel’s own demise may be close at hand. The survivors no doubt will whine that the West did not stop us was but an act of anti-Semitism. But the fact will still remain, Israel will no longer exist. Well, you cannot win with these guys.

You will notice, however, there is very little protestations from Tehran regarding the daily bellicosity of Israel and the West regarding attacks on the country, preemptive or otherwise. The fact is the Ayatollah might have a few tricks up his sleeves—like arms-n-u-c-l-e-a-r arms. And this will bring no tears to the eyes of American goyim leadership bamboozled into 9/11 and attacking Iraq to remove an enemy from Israel’s eastern flank. Certainly if this is the case, the Israelis would be wise to launch a massive nuclear assault and hope the Iranians cannot respond with their own second strike. A very big gamble that would be in character with the recklessness of Benjamin Netanyahu. I suspect the 6-10 nuclear weapons that Iran has purchased are well hidden to survive that first strike.

The question the Israelis must ask is whether the goyims who have been thoroughly humiliated in their Middle East misadventure are going to care what a bunch of Quislings in Congress advocate if Israel is removed from the map by the foolishness of their own actions? What Israeli leadership should ponder is whether Iran might entice them into attacking precisely because of the surprise that has been planned for them—one that is not unknown to Israel’s so called best friend? I will only say that in the game of thermonuclear war there are no certain friends because of the stakes. After all, what the United States desires is complete hegemony over the Middle East, with or without Israel’s existence, as long as they are not drawn into a direct confrontation with Russia or the People’s Republic of China (PRC).

That will come later.

Now just gaming out the scenario of a preemptive attack on Iran, and knowing a little about Native American history, this so called preemptive attack on the part of Israel presumes they can trust the United States? Hahahahaha . . . ooooooh that’s a good one. Like Kadhafi surrendering under a white flag or that the Delaware tribes could trust the Pilgrims or Jamestown to come to their aid had they dared to attack the Iroquois confederacy. Well, Americans have been at this game for quite a long time, much longer than the Israelis, and you would do well not to underestimate your ‘friends’ to say nothing of your enemies.

Now David Morales, widely rumored to have been a key player in both the JFK assassination and that of his brother, Robert, retired to a ranch near the Mexican border and then installed a very sophisticated surveillance and alarm system around his property. When asked whether this system was meant to protect him from Coyotes, drug traffickers or illegal immigrants, he replied, “no.” It was to protect him from the people he once worked for—the CIA. They got to him nevertheless and poisoned him before he was able to testify at hearings of the House Select Committee on Assassinations. No autopsy was performed.

It all melts away like tears in the rain.

CNBC reports that the government of Greece will likely collapse even before a referendum on the bailout

If the Greek referendum of the most recent bailout scam fails, Greece will default sooner rather than later. It is a scam because it is actually a partial default designed not to trigger credit default swaps written against Greece’s debt. Just what investor in their right mind is going to fund more debt for Greece and lose even more money. Wake up! It is over. For the Greeks the choice is remarkably easy: debt slavery for the next twenty years or revolution. And if not revolution, most likely a coup as the military moves to save itself.

The revolution part is seemingly unfathomable for Wall Street analysts who can’t understand why George Papandreou would call for a referendum on the bailout. This is because Papandreou knows Greece is close to revolution now, not months from now. Good for Georgie boy, the right call for the cradle of democracy. Even after the so called bailout plan the Greeks’ debt to GDP ratio would still be 120 percent in 2020. Unadulterated nonsense. And investors are taking note. As the Associated Press reports:

The yields of Italian debt spiked to their highest level this year, another sign that investors are concerned that the debt crisis could spread to the larger economies of Europe. The yield on 1-year Italian government bonds soared 48 percent to 5.17 percent.

The Italian economy dwarfs Greece’s, and in this writer’s opinion the next domino to fall. Bond investors are much more savvy than equity investors, and guys like Bob Gross at PIMCO have been getting out for quite a while, since the end game is not that hard to see through the obfuscations of the main stream media cheer leading. First financial Armageddon and then the real deal. That will make the day for the Christian nut jobs on the U.S. right who desire to do battle with Gog and Magog.

German banks and French banks are wildly exposed to Greek bonds, and American banks are in turn exposed to German and French banks. The world financial system is unraveling rapidly, because instead of taking their capitalist medicine the bankers desired socialism for financialistas. In the end everyone becomes a banana republic, especially the Los Estados Unidos de América. But if you can have socialism for bankers why not just have socialism?

The U.S. is already the largest socialist state ever when you take into account the subsidies of the Military Leviathan. Fifty-four cents of every tax dollar already goes to the military industrial complex which amounts to the transfer of wealth from Americans to people like the Carlyle Group and the Bush crime family. That is the heart of the scam for people like Diane Feinstein and Nancy Pelosi, you vote for military expenditures that benefit companies you own stock in. Quite frankly these characters can think up foreign threats galore to benefit their bottom lines. This was of course the game neocons like Richard Perle were also playing.

Socialism isn’t the optimal economic system. But since the bankers don’t like capitalism, and the government likes National Socialism, corporatism and militarism, it is really a choice between two variants of socialism, the Nazi type or the Soviet type.

Or you could choose Ron Paul. But no elitist wants that dude, who is consistently dissed by the main stream press, yet continues to win straw polls all around the country from common schmoes that are now regularly mocked by the wealthy. It is not because the guy isn’t liked, it is that he represents the first legitimate threat to America’s current National Socialism of borrow and spending to kill people of color. I suppose it’s their idea of keeping world population down since we just passed the seven billion mark. But of course as we go around killing people to feed the Military Leviathan the cry will be, “They hate us for our freedom.” I guess that means the freedom to be stupid.
